Job Description:
Managing overall Operations, Technical and PMO activities, Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
Job Responsibilities:
Operations:
• Developing annual business plans by forecasting and developing annual operations capacity; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition and supply.
• Manages the company Operations and the End to End IT/ICT projects services delivery (E-business development, IT Infrastructure, UC, VC, AV, applications development and outsourcing).
•Develop and apply business process reengineering (BPR) for Operations, Sales, purchasing and finance workflow.
•Prepare the operation aggregated financial dashboard and P&L statements for each project and its related cost centers.
•Managing the Purchasing function to ensure material is purchased cost effectively and available for production and operations when required.
• Managing the Operations Technical teams (Systems Infrastructure, Information Systems Development, and VC & Unified communications teams).
•Ensuring compliance with the organization policies and procedures during the operation lifecycle.
PMO - Projects Management Office:
•Planning, scheduling and reviewing workload to ensure operations teams output and on time delivery targets are achieved cost effectively.
•Monitor, control & reports the projects progress within the agreed schedule from initiation to closure.
•Break down the business requirements and establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback.
•Identifying possible risks and developing strategies to mitigate such risks
•Develop project objectives into smaller units with identifiable objectives and KPIs.
•Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and stakeholders’ goals.
•Proactively communicate project status, issues & risks to the management and maintain strong customer relationships.
•Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs and requirements continuously in view.
•Troubleshoot technical issues when the need arises, and escalating appropriately as needed.
•Developing a testing strategy and road map and ensuring the testing results in meeting of organizational objectives
•Ensure Contract compliance, and manage ongoing contractual and financial arrangements with support from legal and finance.
•Manage strategic projects according to the CMMI, PMI, SDLC standards and methodologies and prepare quality reviews and productivity reports.
Job Description:
Information Technology Manager: Planning, organizing, controlling and executing all IT functions to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing infrastructure, applications, and development of new technical solutions.
Supply Chain Manager: Plan, Organize, monitor and control the Procurement, Logistics and Warehouse sections.
Job Responsibilities and achievements:
Information Technology:
•Participates in developing annual IT budget; monitors expenditures for appropriate levels and cash flow.
•Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
•Teams’ development (ERP, Help desk, Application support, Voice and network infrastructure).
•Approve vendors used by the organization and monitors their financial condition, prepare and approve the required IT SLAs.
•Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending.
•Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
•Design and install all the Security systems (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control …).
•Manage information technology infrastructure, architecture, systems, networks, software and resources across multiple platforms
•Upgrades to the company's telephone system (VOIP) at our call center for about 400 agent to server NTRA and Mobinil gathering data project.
•Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary
Procurement:
•Develop and maintain all the Supply Chain policies and procedures according to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
•Reorganize procurement, materials planning functions to improve work flow processing and internal support.
•Continually monitor, evaluate and improve supplier performance including the regular use of audit and benchmarking techniques provided by ERP reporting modules.
•Optimize the company working capital, by restructure the MRP - raw materials lead times which reduce the stock levels by 20% in 2012, and resulted in a reduction of EGP 1.8 M while maintaining superior service to customers.
•Manage Procurement budget and expenditure of EGP 48 million per year.
•Negotiation of prices, contracts and SLA’s for company consumables and services.
•Develop and maintain the MRP system to manage all materials requirements for the production divisions monthly forecast.
•Monitor market conditions and trends for all material purchased and take appropriate actions as required.
•Organizes annual surplus auction for the purpose of providing an efficient process for the district to dispose of obsolete equipment, furnishings and vehicles.
•Monitor progress of usage on daily basis, confers with project engineers and review reports to see that development is progressing according to schedule and within budgetary guideline.
Warehouse & Stock Control:
•Monitor the safety stock levels and the planned reordering point.
•Manage production scheduling/ordering with our factory and other suppliers to ensure that stock levels match customer requirements within the constraints of working capital affordability and cash budgets.
•Selling all the old stagnant and slow moving items in our warehouse.
•Ensure monthly/ weekly follow up on logistics activities.
•Monitor logistics’ KPIs and any take the necessary actions for any development needed.
•Manage and monitors all the company shipments containers from the port of loading to the port of discharge.
•Review all the imported shipments declaration and all the related bank documents.
•Review all the invoices sent from our freight forwarding before send it to the finance for payments.
•Manage the full cycle between freight forward company and procurement team and stores team for any shipment.
• Prepare the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the whole network infrastructure (Active/Passive), VOIP, Servers and Storage bidders to build a new intelligent network that meets the new technology; assist in the development and management of associated budgets as well as the whole project management lifecycle responsibilities from preparing and issuing the RFP, bidding technical and financial evaluation until the project closure for the following authorities and companies:
o Egyptian Railways Maintenance & Services Co. "ERMAS"
o River Transport Authority "RTA"
o Egyptian Railways Medical Co. "ERMED"
o Egyptian Authority for Marine Safety "EAMS"
o Egyptian Marine Transport Sector "MTS"
• Launching and evaluation the IT projects tenders according to the Law of Tenders and Biddings no# 89/1998.
• Handel all IT purchase requests and support contracts at the ministry's office through direct orders or bids and tenders.
• Ensure the effective operation of Ministry networks and communications environment, design and implement security, and establish and manage MS windows based network environment.
• Managing & Maintaining the VOIP solution system CISCO Call Manager 4.2 as the telephone system for the Ministry containing E1 lines connectivity.
• Provide technical estimation of time and effort, and plan task distribution to IT helpdesk team.
• Provide, operate, and maintain computing and telecommunications facilities, equipment, and services that meet the needs of the Ministry.
