Area Authority (Lead / Field Operator)
• Approving the HITRA and attend the site SIMOPS meeting and discuss all aspects of CoW within their area.
• Ensuring that all procedures and prerequisite safeguards are fully implemented
• Producing “marked-up” Piping and Instrument Drawings indicating all positive isolation and venting points
• Ensure compliance with the site Permit to Work and Energy Isolation procedures.
•Confirm that all Preforming Authorities understands the scope and controls relevant to the task.
•Ensuring that an appropriate risk assessment has been performed for any task.
•Approval of isolation design, coordination of isolation implementation, control of isolation and ensuring isolation is properly removed after completion of work.
•Ensure worksite inspections are performed: before, during and after completion of each task.
•Ensure that permits are closed, and job site inspected on completion of a task.
•Ensure adequately detailed shift handovers take place.
• Assist Shift Engineer on problems analysis troubleshoots.
• Handling Emergencies during plant shutdown & blackout situations.
• Confirm & carry out safe isolation & de-isolation of electrical & mechanical assets, prepare & Isolation of PTW on as per standard operating procedures (LO/TO).
• Ensure all process plant and utilities equipment's are good and in operable condition to maintain high reliability of the plant.
• Daily inspection includes recording flow rates, pressures and temperature data checking fluid level and reports any maintenance requirement.

Manage operation of Simple Cycle Power plant during commissioning & start up.
Manage a team of operators both control room operators and local field Operators.
Ensure safety of all personnel and equipment during commissioning operations.
Participate, assist / support different commissioning activities like flushing, cleaning, start up and testing.
Provide feedback to Commissioning team on any problems faced during operations.
Manage maintenance activities during commissioning and start up.
Provide on Job training for Client operation and maintenance team
Operation& troubleshooting of Gas Turbine GE Frame 9FA (12*250 MW)
Operation& troubleshooting of Steam Turbine GE C7 (6*250 MW)
Operation & troubleshooting of HRSG (CMI 310T/HR*8)
Troubleshoot operational problems and initiate service requests with Maximo.
Commissioning field operation, HRSG Chemical Cleaning, Steam Blow, Hot Clean for ACC.
Attend the daily meeting with operation and maintenance supervisors and check
daily report and event report.
Weekly Performance calculation for gas turbine, steam turbine, HRSG, Cooling
tower, degradation, compressor efficiency.
Using E.Map system, PI system to check performance machine.
Prepared procedures for line up systems, startup check list, and online water wash.
Monthly change over for motors, daily online test for STG.
Execute HV switching procedures, including isolation and earthling.
Plan and execute Plant outages, balancing supply, maintenance and cost objectives.
Development of short and long term operation strategy for the plant and the
development of a capable shift engineer and operator team to support that strategy.
Day to day plant operation, safely and efficiently, according to good utility practice, dispatch instructions, the company rules and procedures.
Perform other duties related to operations including assisting with maintenance
planning and coordination, training of operators, investigating loss events, and
developing and reviewing procedures.
Ensure that plant meets safety, availability, reliability, efficiency, generation and
budget targets.
Duty mechanical:
Field Operation: GTPP GE frame 6 DLN mode, fuel gas compressor (Cameron), Air compressor (Atlascopco), Firefighting system, Water Treatment.
• Preparation of process equipment for run-up, start-up, control over operating and process parameters.
• Control over conditions and integrity of pipelines and fittings.
• Detection and troubleshooting of malfunctions related to emergency shutdowns of equipment.
• Assures presence and good conditions of protective and safety devices, operability of a ventilation system, fire alarm and firefighting.
• Taking readings of instruments, maintenance of a shift documentation.
• Preparation of process equipment for performance of technical maintenance, scheduled and corrective maintenance, for SD activities.
• Performance of activities provided by an emergency response plan.
• Maintenance of operated sites and work places in accordance with HSE and fire safety requirements.

• Overhauling main parts of engines such as : turbochargers, cylinder head, liner, piston, air cooler, lubricating oil cooler, nozzle cooling oil, water pumps, oil pumps, thermostat valves, heat exchangers, solenoid valves, camshaft, connecting rod, crank shaft, balance weight, main bearing, governor.
• To read and understand technical manuals and system piping and instrumentation diagrams. P&ID.
• Pre commissioning and piping.
