Operate and Monitor water treatment plant operations; perform startup and shutdown procedures and regulate equipment operations as needed to ensure adequate plant production.
Operate or control an entire process or system of machines, often through the use of controlboards, to transfer or treat water or wastewater.
Responsible of checking in all Parameter in the SCADA, HMI and other PID programs. Maintains various operational records and logs and produces operational reports.
Operates and knowledgeable of the Membrane bio reactor(MBR), Ultra violet disinfection, Aeration, Blowers unit, Centrifuge and all equipment of Water treatment plant.
Monitors and oversees the water treatment operation system, using SCADA, receives system alarms, locates trouble areas, dispatches maintenance teams to problem areas, directs and coordinates base switching, and performs remote switching and control, using current policy, when requested to support plant operations.
Dispatches duty water/wastewater Plant Operator to trouble areas.
Maintains a log of operations to reflect any/all system concerns, and operational actions taken.
Identifies SCADA operational malfunctions, request corrective actions, and reports uncorrected malfunctions. Follows standard procedures and switching orders in accordance with standard operating and safe switching practices.
Prepares work orders using information, such as name, address, building to be repaired, or service to be rendered using database software to create service work orders from plant operator provided information.
Opens and/or closes PM, SC/CM Work Orders, accurately during assigned work-shift. Create and Distributes work orders to maintenance team, through their supervisor, upon plant Operator’s request for maintenance calls.
Relays messages and special instructions to Plant Operator and other departments using radioor telephone equipment.
Performs clerical duties as required.
Uses Safety Data Sheets to identify chemical characteristics.
Completes time sheets daily and accurately.
Complies with all OSHA safety regulations and adheres to proper codes and standards with a thorough understanding of safety procedures related to Waste Water treatment Systems.
Monitor data acquisitions screens and historical data and have the ability to interpret them. Work with plant operator and maintenance personnel on shift and lead Operator to safely run plant.
Comply with all regulatory permits involving water process plant.
Assist with chemical dose adjustments in response to changing water quality parameters Maintain day to day operations necessary to meet quality effluent water for discharge Under general supervision.
Operates and performs preventative maintenance on
small conventional rapid sand filter plant and reverse osmosis system on rotating shifts.
Collects water samples and accurately performs routine chlorine, turbidity, and coliform analysis.
Cleans and organizes the plant, and keeps the process running smoothly
Perform end-of-warranty review of OEM SCADA systems.
Responsible for on-time delivery, as-built documentation, data streams into EMS, construction dashboard and minimization of open issues.
Design, document, implement and maintain essential SCADA and control systems and components for electric power and distribution networks.
Provide appropriate and timely technical advice on matters relating to SCADA andcontrol systems.
Add chemicals, such as ammonia, chlorine, or lime, to disinfect water or other liquids. Inspect equipment on a regular basis.
Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges.
Collect and test water and sewage samples.
Record meter and gauge readings, and operational data.
Operate equipment to purify and clarify water, or to process or dispose of sewage. Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, filter beds, and other work areas.
Stay current on environmental laws and regulations.
Ensure safety standards are met.
