During my time doing my internship at Kuehne Nagel in Germany, I have learned how to work with various software systems including KN Workplace, KN-eScan and SeaLog. Some of the major activities carried out during my internship period encompass booking shipment orders, preparing booking confirmation documents, sorting out, scanning and printing documents, filling out tables on excel sheet and extracting information from various documents related to shipments in terms of weight, description of goods, estimated date/time of sailing and arrival, port of loading and port of discharge.
One month Internship at Kuehne Nagel in Amman, Jordan included:
* Tracking shipments using some of the company's tools and systems
* Talking to customers on the phone and in person
* Various paper work including preparing BOL
