Oracle NMS Project: Power Flow analysis, fault detection and FLISR scenario analysis for distribution system
using Oracle NMS platform including device operations and customer outages with system restoration
analysis.
• Distribution system factors analysis: Such as Demand Factor, Diversified Demand, Coincidence Factor and
Loss factor analysis for different type of loads mainly residential, commercial and industrial loads. Study the
Residential load behavior and causes on 15-min and hourly basis for different seasons during the year using
load duration curve.
• Conductor Selection for distribution systems design using ACSR cables considering thermal and economical
reach concept to choose a set of conductors to design a distribution system considering temporal and spatial
load growth models.
• Calculations of Phase impedance matrix using modified Carson’s equations for distinct set of conductors and
its reduced impedance matrix. Power flow analysis using backward forward sweep method, computation of
voltages at all system buses with MATLAB simulation.
• Reliability Analysis for distribution systems for different layout designs for different fault scenario analysis.
Maximum number of interruptions in the system, SAFI and SAIDI calculations.
• Economic Dispatch and Unit Commitment (UC) solution for 6-bus test system with GAMS simulation. Project
includes computation of unit commitment total cost, unit commitment solution, unit dispatch for 24 hrs.

• Electric Market Clearing Price and Market Clearing Quantities using linear programming (LP) formulation.
• Generation, transformation and fitting of random variables both discrete and continuous RVs with modeling a
BCG data as an application.
• Tri-Port Dual Active Bridge for renewable energy resources applications: (Switching Losses Minimization
using zero voltage switching, Bidirectional Power Flow Calculations and Simulation Model Using PSIM and
PLEXIM software).
• Fully Functional MATLAB Simulink Model for Photovoltaic (PV) Module with Maximum Power
Point Tracking (MPPT), this project can be used as a simulation tool for companies to simulate the
characteristics of the PV modules without the need of going to the Lab and performing expensive experiments
using MAGNA DC power supplies. Furthermore, the PV characteristics i.e. the P-V and I-V characteristics
can be well investigated and study the dependency of those curves on the solar irradiance and the operating
temperature of the PV Module.
• Analysis and simulation of the Dual Active Bridge Using Gyrator Theory.
• Fully Functional MATLAB Simulink Model and GUI Interface with Hardware Implementation For LED
Drivers to Fully Control the Color Temperature, Brightness and Flickering of the RGB LEDs. The three
programs are implemented and verified by MATLAB Software and Hardware implementation using DSP
C2000 evaluation kit with LED BoosterPack manufactured by Texas Instruments, the closed loop control for
the LED drivers is achieved by sensing the output voltage of the LEDs and then adjusting the Duty Ratio of
the PWM control signal according to the Suitable driving signal to maintain constant current at load (LEDs)
side.

delivery to our customers, and consistency in these proposals is required. I studied the process, interviewed
numerous stake holders and developed a tool that combined the varied efforts of many to one common tool.
That each team member can use to deliver a strong technical proposal that is consistent across all users’

• I engaged with the Service and Operation Team. I assisted in delivery efforts to customers in both building
automation system and security systems. My efforts were concentrating to maintain the field controllers.
Updated and upgrading all old systems .Net7 to the Smart structure software.
