Responsible for directly managing, supporting and providing direction and leadership to the Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, Field Engineer and Field Technicians in Electrical and Mechanical .
-Confer with management, production, Quality, and SCM to discuss project specifications and procedures.
-Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
-Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
-Accomplishes electrical and mechanical engineering human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
-Achieves electrical and mechanical engineering operational objectives by contributing electrical and mechanical engineering information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining administrative system improvements; implementing change.
-Meets engineering financial objectives by forecasting electrical and mechanical engineering requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
-Develops strategic plans by studying operational plans; studying existing conditions; determining needs to accomplish operational plans; mapping solutions; updating and modifying requirements and solutions; preparing cost estimates and budgets.
-Develop engineering scopes of work, planning and scheduling of multi discipline engineering for proposals, feasibility and concept studies, basic engineering and detailed engineering services.
-Implement the Management of Change processes and perform value engineering across proposals, studies and projects and ensure adequate resourcing for work as per the budget and schedules for the work.
-Monitor engineering progress, address shortfalls, develop recovery plans and ensure plans are implemented.
Handling overall responsibility for all Project Management activities and for the delivery of Project Objectives Includes:
• Fully in charge of electro mechanical projects.
• Preparation of Subcontract Management Plan, Contract and Commercial Risks Management Plan.
• To ensure successful completion and contract execution within budget and on time.
• Coordinate with company departments in al project related matters for successful contract execution.
• Responsible for contract and project planning and scheduling of all major activities of the project to achieve timely completion of the project.
• Responsible for managing the staff at the project.
• Comprehend and follow contract requirements technical and administrative ones.
• To insure the timely submittal of al contractual and project requirements such as: shop drawings, design details, work procedures, method statements, schedules, programs.etc, to obtain approvals and secure timely payments.
• To schedule and plan all project activities in line with client, subcontractor and company.
• To arrange timely obtaining of all clearances, approvals, permissions, etc as may require from time to time from any of the statutory authorities during the execution of the Project.
• To schedule and plan all project activities in line with Master Program in co-ordination with the subcontractors.
• To liaison between employer (client) and subcontractors.
• To attend all project related meeting with Client/Engineer/subcontractors... etc.
• To be responsible for assignment of all project related activities to resources.
• To evaluate the requirement of all project resources (materials, machinery, manpower) as per schedule and arrange for the availability of the same.
• Risk analysis in Lump Sum EPC contracts.
• Planning and scheduling of resources (material, manpower etc.) i.e. Resources mobilization.
• Management of national and international insurances and reinsurances, letters of guarantee and Parent Guarantees of Prime Contracts.
• Contractual disputes negotiator with clients and subcontractors achieving agreements for contract disputes.
• Fully understands and implements FIDIC, EPC/ Turnkey contracts.
Electrical Infra Structure works “Wiring, Cabling and Earthing” - 653 GSM sites have been completed for AIRCEL, RELIANCE, BSNL, AMERICAN TOWERS, VIDEOCON and TATA.
Telecom works Micro Cells IBS solutions -272 Micro cell sites have been completed for Reliance and Ericson.
Handling overall responsibility for all Project Management activities and for the delivery of Project Objectives Includes:
o Budgeting, Selecting and Implementing the Project work. From Survey up to invoicing including billing and acceptance procedures.
o Rates analyzing and Rates revision
o Evaluation, Selection and Dealing with consultants and contractors.
o Monthly site visit for concern Projects. Ensuring both Quality of works and hand over on the right time.
o Determining resources required, interviewing candidates, and assigning tasks.
o Assembling meetings with Clients, Vendors and Employees.
o Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
o Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
o Drafting technical specifications, Qualitative Requirement for materials, equipment and machinery for inclusion in Purchase order and work order.
o Interacting with suppliers and vendors for scheduling, dispatch and cost optimizations of materials.
o Project and its Auxiliaries management comprising all facets from conceptualization to execution and commission.
o Drafting specification, terms and conditions for protecting interest of the Company in work order contracts.
o Technical leadership and supervision of project resources.
o Project cost and budget control.
o Maintain a positive cash-flow throughout the project life and ensure that all third parties interests are maintained in accordance with good business practice at all times.
o Reporting to the CEO and CFO.
o Electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs.
o Review bid analyses and make recommendations.
o Direct and participate in job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data.
