• Prepares architectural details as and when required for the execution of works. Leads in architectural meetings and reviews all shop drawings.
• Review Pre-contractual documents and report any ambiguity to the design team prior to the issuance of documents for tendering.
• Review Prequalification, shop drawings, and methods statements.
• Addresses modifications desired by the Client in coordination with the Designers.
• Review and selection of architectural materials if are in compliance with approved material submittals. Issues all architectural correspondences.
• Highlights any violations of architectural-related issues on site.
• Attends monthly progress review meetings and coordination meetings to assist the Project Manager in resolving any site issues such as discrepancies in the project's drawings.
• Participation and compliance with all Health Safety Environment programs being implemented.
• HSE awareness of the emergency action plan and duty of care.
• Inspect completed architectural works and prepare a snag list.
• Review As-built drawings and assist in the building completion certification process.
• Any other duties required for the successful completion of works.
• Consult with clients to determine the type, style, and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered
• Conceptualize and design buildings and develop plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs, and construction schedules.
• Prepare sketches and models for clients.
• Prepare and, supervise the preparation of drawings, specifications, and other construction documents for use by contractors and tradespersons.
• Prepare and submit graphic documents and reports to municipalities for the building permit process.
• Prepare bidding documents, participate in contract negotiations, and award construction contracts.
• Monitor activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Oversaw the work of the technical team developing the final drawings and construction specifications.
• Review contractor`s submittals such as Prequalification, Material submittal, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Coordinating with other construction disciplines to solve issues during the construction stages.
• Inspect completed architectural works and prepare a snag list.
• Review As-built drawings and assist in the building completion certification process.
• Consult with clients to determine the type, style, and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered.
• Conceptualize and design buildings and develop plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs, and construction schedules.
• Prepare and submit graphic documents and reports to municipalities for the building permit process.
• Review the materials proposed by the contractors.
• Prepare project progress reports for clients.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders to resolve issues during construction
• Carry out site visits to verify the conformity of the work carried out with the approved plans.
• Preparation of tender documents and participation in the opening of tenders.
• Monitor the activities of contractors on construction sites to ensure compliance with drawings and building regulations.
