ICT setup
- Installing, adapting and maintaining all professional ICRC Informatics equipment (computers, servers, printers, peripherals, internal networks, power systems, cabling, connections and internet facilities), all professional ICRC Radio equipment (HF, VHF, UHF, modems, antennas, cabling, power systems, batteries), and all professional ICRC Telephone equipment (Sat phones, faxes, switchboards, wireless units, telephone sets, in-doors cabling and connections) respecting internal standards and procedures.
- Assisting the ICT Technicians in other ICRC sites in Iraq on the implementation of ICT projects in the country.
- Sharing knowledge and maintains technical and administrative information updated following internal documentation and reporting procedures.
Remote Sites Management \[Basrah and Nassiriyah\]
- Perform Regular visits to ICRC offices in Basrah and Nassiriyah.
- Manage users' requests and respond Remotely or during regular visits.
- Monitor sites functionality remotely.
- Maintain ICT stock in Basrah.
ICT Helpdesk
- Providing ICT Help Desk service to users on working days, handling and prioritizing requests according to established internal procedures.
- Relying to 2nd level support (Geneva ICT Service Desk or the ICT Technicians in other ICRC sites) when needed monitoring completion.
ICT Administration
- Keeping an updated inventory of all ICT equipment in the area covered by BAS office, in compliance with internal procedures.
- Following standard procedures for loans and attributions of ICT equipment and software, ensuring messages exist, approvals are correct, forms are completed and signed, and properly monitoring returns and reacting when necessary.
- Knowing, respecting and monitoring respect of ICRC ICT policies, procedures and standards from GVA.
