1. Sharing work with IT department to Connect all Computers in Offices with the Main Server, and Solve Staff Problems regarding Email, Word, Excel, Internet.
2. Monitors the Network HF and VHF Radios, as well as thuraya calls to the field.
3. Regularly updating the lists for radio check, radio assignment, and thuraya assignments.
4. Conduct regular maintenance of radio equipment, and repair in Geneina and the sub offices as necessary.
5. Oversees the guards by managing the guard’s rotations/schedules, instructing guards on their responsibilities on the job, checks up on guards to assure they are performing their duties, and carries out disciplinary action when necessary..
6. Ensures staff safety by ensuring fire extinguishers are refilled on time, and all are in good condition.
7. Advises senior management of ways to improve communication or staff safety when the need arises.
8. Assist Staff Safety Coordinator to Track the movement of staff and ensure proper communication equipment is given to all staff leaving the base.
9. Produce monthly reports on thuraya usage so appropriate departments/persons may be charged.
