Exterran for Shell-BGC (Basra Gas Company-Iraq)
- Delivers courses on: Basic science, HSE, Gas treatment (separation, dehydration, sweetening, mercury removal, propane refrigeration, cryogenic system liquefaction, instrument air and nitrogen production, bacteria sulphur recovery system…..)
- Location and identification of equipment and instruments with P&ID on site.
- Operations specific to production units (hse, isolation and de-isolation, start-up, shutdown, swapping, troubleshooting, etc.) on plant static and rotating equipment.
- Exercises on control and regulation in the control room and on the site...
- Corrects, direct trainees, explain, ask questions and answer questions etc...Also I teach in class if I notice that there are principles or notions misunderstood...
- I then start individual and group evaluations (gap detection and filling)...
- At the end of a set of courses (unit) I proceed to an assessment, which will allow the trainee to pass from one level to another superior... (The standard applied is that of OPITO)...
Also I sometimes ensure the coordination and supervision; given that the training lead covers 03 projects from head office:
- Draws up the training plan and schedules...
- Draws up the course program, groups, classroom and OJT sessions...
- Develops courses, tasks and exercises relative to the site (NGL plant) units etc.
- Follows the progress and detect trainee’s weaknesses and gaps through the pre and post assessments, I collect the marks, make notes for trainers on how to better fill gaps and make progress….
- Writes daily, weekly and monthly reports either for clients or for my company make suggestions if any….
- I also anticipate in pedagogical matters, training material, desertions, exams, tests, drawings...
- Coordinates with the client (department heads, engineers, and safety and operations supervisors) for site visits, OJT...and organise all safety needs...
- Also ensures the smooth running of the sessions in progress with the work plan and the assigned time schedule, holidays, events...
- Ensures that all staff adhere to the rules and BGC HSE procedure…
- Reorganize the plan according to the changes, the needs of the client....
This is part and not all the tasks and missions relating to this project
