Duties & Responsibilities :

Team Leadership

 Responsible for building, leading, developing and managing a local team of highly skilled service engineers
who oversee the installation and commissioning of the Proton Therapy equipment on site.
 Plan and manage site team training program
 Manage team hiring process in different phases with full coordination with local and international HR
Partner.
 Supervise the team and managing the application of human resources policies (appraisals, goal setting, time
policy, planning, etc.)

Project Management

 Manage the full execution of installation and commissioning of the Proton Therapy System following Varian
standard process and aligned to quality system.
 Manage preventive maintenance tasks executed during installation and commissioning.
 Manage overall project budget and financial performance.
 Manage logistics and material provisioning and liaison with subcontractors (supplies, storage, etc.)
 Ensure smooth transition post commissioning and manage transition and handover plan with the Services
team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Oversee project end-to-end from the building phase, installation and commissioning phase.
 Interface between the customer and the rest of the Varian team to deliver the system on time and on budget
while achieving a high standard of quality and delivery.
 Ensure the customer’s requirements are met in terms of compliance, technical performance, and timing.
 Oversee the application of Quality Assurance processes, in parallel with compliance to local legal
requirements.
 Interface with and manage subcontractors and suppliers both local and international.
 Supervise and support main contractor on site to ensure finalizing building snag list.
