• Ensure the integration of functional projects with other projects in the business to deliver end to end improvements in customer service, the elimination of waste, quality improvements, responsiveness and cost reduction.
• Establish, co-ordinate and provide leadership for the projects within Supply Chain. Working closely with the regional Lean Champion/Manager and the Supply chain managers to deploy the Continues Improvement Projects (CIPs) roadmap.
• Own a number of major projects, executing such projects through an effective project management process. Capable of writing up project charters and assuming the overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of such projects.
• Improve the organizational Functional and technical capabilities
• Ability to understand process problems and determine a root cause, such as training deficiency, process design issue or system bug
• Improve business Process Expertise.
• Ensure co-ordination within different functions with the aim of embedding Effective Business Changes (EBC) processes and procedures in the unit. In addition to coordinating future SAP template changes, new releases and its related unit testing.
• Support operational associates in the region on business processes and the current MARS systems like: SAP (Master data, inbound and outbound modules) - BW - DP - Helios - EcoPilot - Email2EDI - RevTrac - SharePoint.
• Assess the overall capability of the end Users network and develop actions plans to address any issues (functional knowledge gaps, poor coverage of business area, etc…)
• Documenting local process specifics / uniqueness to ensure key knowledge is captured and retained
• Providing a proactive contribution into the network of key users and functional experts from other sites / countries
• Ensure all local system users for the process area have appropriate level of system access / authorizations / license
• Training and coaching new business associates on business processes and related systems.
• Building SAP Key Users in each Sub-functional Area.
• Improve and support the team functional skills in order to achieve the team’s objectives.
• Ensure currently accepted best practices are consistently applied and effectively managed for SAP Inbound & Outbound functional areas while rolling them out across the region.
• Developing business processes and executing Continued Improvement Projects (CIP) across Unit.
• Lead process change testing on the site to improve operational performance by good practice processes.
• Conducting and coordinating any relevant systems testing for the local site.
Responsible to maintain the business process expertise. This includes:
• Own and control the New Product Introduction process to the system.
• Own, manage and control the Master Data database for Business Partners and Materials (finished goods, raws, packs & BOMs)
• Manage and own the creation and maintenance process for all Finished goods, Semi-finished and Raws.
• Provide master data support for all related systems, upgrades and business projects.
• Liaise with the Activity Task Groups as the link between Raws / Packs and Finished Goods.
• Link between the Supply Chain team and the Markets regarding items and New Product Introductions.
• Single point of contact for all master data related queries and support for other functions and units
• Maintain cross references with other systems
• Own and control the process to create and maintain barcodes.
• Own and strictly control the regional process to create and maintain data for all types of Vendors and customers.
• Through regular audits and clean-up, ensure master data is kept updated and consistent in accordance with the standards set by Business Data Support.
Deliver Business Process Improvements
Lead the GRD (Global Reference Data) Continuous Improvement Activities across the region. This includes:
• Specify requirements for, and influence, future business process design and development based on regional needs, using appropriate Change Management process and tools.
• Identify gaps / opportunities for change with local business processes to derive business benefits (in conjunction with local key users)
• Test/Sign off new process / system releases and enhancements across the region
• Understand and drive local process change in line with (global or regional) best practice.
Project & Change Management
Follow EBC (Effective Business Change) Framework to deliver relevant business process improvement projects to the agreed plans. This includes:
• Understating the framework and applying it
• Ensure delivery of the project milestones to agreed timing, budget and business benefits case
Develop & Sustain Regional Key User Network
Lead the Key User network across the region to ensure business process expertise is developed, sustained and harnessed to deliver business benefits. This includes:
