Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and maintain client relationships at all levels and present favorable impression of the firm
• Exceeding expectations of partners, directors and clients
• Act as proactive bridge between EY, clients and teams for smooth service delivery and resolution of issues
• Plan, review and evaluate auditors work with respect to planning, strategy, risk, accounting, independence, quality, compliance with GAAP and laws & regulations (including tax), testing strategy and sufficiency and appropriateness of audit documentation
• Develop and achieve budgets, meet performance and hour targets, manage practice activities like billings, trainings, events etc.
• Ensure quality of clients’ deliverable: financial statements, reports, presentations, engagement contracts, management letters etc.
• Leading at meetings e.g. team events, audit committee and board meetings
• Ensuring application of audit methodology, policies, use of IT and audit tools such as, EY Canvas, PwC Aura, Mercury etc.
• Be up to date with current developments, lead on adapting professional and ethical standards and act as role model for others
• People management: staff interviews, building teams, counselling, trainings, performance evaluations and work allocations
