• Responsible for testing & creating test plans for different software applications developed by we.R.play and external clients of we.R.play such as Pocketgems, Apportable and Google
• Perform various types of testing (White-box testing, Black-box testing, Smoke Testing and Regression Testing) in accordance with the software development cycle
• Report and follow up on all issues and problems encountered through different Issue & Project tracking software like JIRA, Trello and Asana
• QA Lead on various internal titles the company is currently working on, responsible for work/task division of Internal QA team along with developing testing landmarks and solving any problems encountered during development of respective internal titles

• Developed a benchmark tool for the department to compare current number of publications with future goals set for the university. The benchmark tool allowed the department to understand how many publications specific departments of the university were producing and how many more they would need to produce to meet future goals set.
• Updated the department’s grant and funding databases. Archived expired grants, structured and sorted the data of existing grants so that they could be easily accessible to the research office.
• Used MySQL workbench to pull data through querying and MS Excel to organize and structure existing data

Researched the process of installing and maintaining two 2.5 Megawatt wind turbines manufactured by Nordex for Fauji Foundation, one of the biggest companies in Pakistan.
Analyzed site suitability to determine the ideal location for wind turbine installation along with what ideal conditions are needed for the generation of electricity through wind turbines.
Short-listed a number of locations and presented my research to the project manager. Final location decided was near the coast of Karachi due to its ideal wind and weather conditions. The project development cost was about $134 million USD.

Developed and maintained a website for Renaissance Pakistan a charity organization that provides education to the under-privileged. The website played a major role in reaching out to international donors (London, New York etc.) to gather funds. It also served as a great tool to keep all donors up-to date with regards to their donations and progress of the organization.
Website was developed using HTML & CSS and utilizing the word press plugin.

PROJECTS
Senior Capstone Project: Public Display Device Design
A hardware and software solution which enables the user to communicate and setup meetings/appointments remotely, the device (iDash) could also serve as a mini-computer.
Designed the initial schematic of the device and later converted it to a PCB design
Assessed the budget required to build such a device and minimized costs to develop multiple cheap prototypes.

Design and Project Management: Shower System
This project allowed me to focus on my project management skills and work within a multi-disciplinary diverse team to plan, develop and execute a project under tight deadlines. Key responsibilities included the following:
Spear-headed the team that developed a customizable shower system.
Utilized the iterative and incremental software development methodologies to theoretically test and design the system.
Conducted risk analysis and determined all issues and risks that can occur while developing such a project. The safety procedures required to ensure the success of the project.
