Implementation of the competency based recruitment model - Consult with line
management and provide daily HR guidance - Analyze trends and metrics with the HR
department - Ensure and manage the development of the teams through different HR
processes: recruitment, induction, training, mobility - Act as coach/consultant to
senior leaders of each activity on HR related issues as well as serve as employee
advocate and change agent - Work closely with management and employees to

cost, Annual Appraisal, Salary plan, Talent Review) - Partner with managers on the
talent agenda - focus on critical skills and roles needed for the future, identification of
top talent, development opportunities and succession plans - Develop robust talent
pipeline and strategies to attract, develop and retain key talent in a very competitive
market - Manage the annual salary surveys, follow-up on local HR KPIs and local
salary benchmark to drive the Retail activity - Ensure the implementation of local
Development offer for all Retail population
Integrated Performance Management System
Creation of IPMS handbook, analyzing PMS procedure in detail and defining it in
clear and understandable form for Etisalat (PTCL) Employees - Review and map
employee relationships and verify targets/KPIs - Strategic analysis on the data
after PMS for compensation both for Management & Non-Management
employees(i.e. ~30, 000 employees)
HR Policy Manual
Developed a comprehensive & simplified document of uniform policies applicable to
all Etisalat (PTCL) employees. Moreover separated policies from Procedures and
performed comparative analysis of related policies with other Telco, and Multi-
National Companies and incorporated their best practices, considering Etisalat
(PTCL) environment.

Develop Functional Competencies of all departments of Etisalat (PTCL) - Develop
Screen applicants for basic compliance with position qualifications; - Meet walk-in
applicants, collect and assess CVs - Obtain and validate all certificates/degrees of the
selected candidates and carry out reference checks - Conduct the first round job
interviews with candidates and provide feedback to Recruitment Manager - Forward
collected CVs to the concerned departmental heads for evaluation and interviews -
Prepare employments offers and contracts for selected candidates
