Projects:
1- SSF
In this project I worked as Team Lead Engineer. This project consist of 4 sites. In Each site we have 2 core switches for redundancy. Three sites are connected with each other through single mode fiber and one of these three site is connected to 4th site through layer 2 VPN bought from STC.
Two sites have ERS 8300 with Chassis redundancy, 1 site have ERS 8800 with chassis redundancy and 1 site have VSP 7000 with switch redundancy through VRRP with backup master.
It contains more than 50 access switches (ERS 4800/ERS 4500) from which few are stacked. There are few Distribution Switches (ERS 5500 and VSP 7000) as well.
The core switches in all the four site are configured with advance and most stable feature IST/SMLT, RSMLT and OSPF. In order to detect any break down in the network due to physical damage in the uplink fiber cable between these sites except the site connected through WAN, VLACP (Avaya Propriety) protocol is configured on the uplink ports. On edge ports of all the access switches bpdu filtering is configured so that if any rogue user try to connect any switch to it, switch make those ports down.
ABR is enabled on all the Core Switches so that static routes can also be forwarded by the root ABR switch through OSPF.
2- Aloft
In this project I worked as a team lead. Here we have 3 different Networks CCTV, Guest and Admin. They are not connected with each other except the Guest and Admin network which are connected through firewall. Each network have 2 HP 7506 switch as core except CCTV network which have only 1 HP 7506 switch as core. The core switches in Guest and Admin network are configured with IRF technology. In Guest network we have 2 HP Procurve 760 premium Wireless Controller and HP 425 Access Points to provide wireless connectivity to the users. They are configured in a teaming mode.
It contains more than 50 HP 5120 Access Switches. Most of the switches are configured with IRF. IMC is configure to manage the Guest Network.
