1- Working as Planning Engineer ensuring the timely delivery of the overall railway systems for Etihad Rail Stage-1“Shah-Habshan-Ruwais Project”. The overall railway system includes the signalling, telecommunication, traffic Management, SCADA and Freight Control systems.
2- Preparation of realistic, controllable and monitor-able project schedules to meet the set deadlines.
3- To monitor and control the progress of different project phases using Primavera P6.
4- Coordination with Procurement and Logistics department to monitor the lead times and delivery durations for critical materials and expedite them if necessary.
5- Circulation of weekly look-ahead schedules for different project phases to respective personal and get reports from them.
6- To make sure that the required resources are available to meet the available work scope and suggest optimization of resources if required.
7- Keep close liaison with Construction and Quality teams to monitor the progress of project and provide them necessary support for the smooth execution of planned activities.
8- Preparation of Project Monthly Invoices in compliance with the contractual payment milestones.
9- Supporting the Project Manager in the main project management tasks such as defining the project scope; managing project resources; executing tasks as defined in the project plan; implementing the quality management plan; measuring project performance against scope, schedule and cost baseline; managing changes and risks; communicate project status to stakeholders.
10- Updating Plan /Schedule including implications of approved changes.
11- Making Level III plan for the project in Primavera.
12- To make sure that the planned activities are executed and completed as per the defined Quality and Safety standards and procedures and within planned durations.
13- Active participation in project reviews and audits.
14- Making necessary changes in plans to reduce the project time and cost.
15- Reporting directly to the Principal Program Manager.
