• Managed NBO’s Islamic Banking Program and launched Muzn Islamic Bank which includes launch of Islamic Banking Branches, Core Banking implementation (Ethix), all related systems implementation, setting up operations & Procedures, Sharia board, and various Program related activities.
• Managed NBO’s UAE strategic Program which was focused on expansion in UAE by offering full range of banking services and distribution expansion.
• Currently managing the customer centricity and digital initiatives program which includes revamping corporate portals, replacing mobile banking platform, social media sites, retail internet banking and corporate internet banking projects.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of Strategic Programs/Projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
• For assigned Programs/Projects, responsible for business objectives by orchestrating the internal and external resources plus within the funding and timeline constraints.
• Responsible for Performing Portfolio Management on the overall Projects running within the Bank.
Responsible for managing the Project Management section with below high level activities:
• Responsible for managing Projects and Programs in Ports, Customs and Freezone Corporation, Dubai Government.
• Interact with Top Management and Divisional Directors on internal and external operations to effectively analyze their needs and design solutions.
• Control and track project/program performance, time allocations, cost, and quality of Projects/programs by constantly evaluating progress and conducting regular program status meetings
• Forecast revenue, margins and utilization to produce project feasibility reports for Top/senior management
• Oversee activities of the Project Management office to maintain governance and program management documentation including inventory of projects, aggregate resource capacity and workload availability
• Currently managing a team of Project Management Professionals and managing 24 Projects/Programs.
• Responsible for managing adherence to Quality processes, PMI standards and Organization policies.
Responsibilities: Managing projects and Programs from initiation through to closure, ensuring that business needs and goals are identified and commitments on quality, scope, schedule and budget are achieved.
Program Management - Responsible for the coordinated management of multiple related projects within the Programs. Responsible for working with constituent Project Managers to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program.
Project Management - For assigned projects defining project objectives, business requirements, milestones, estimating, allocation and coordination of resources, budget planning, reporting and tracking of project results to senior management. Tracking and recording project status and lead project update and issues meetings. Anticipate issues and escalate conflicts to the proper decision forum.
