Preparing 5 CEMP for (Offshore and On-shore freight facility including Marine bridge)
Study the type of Marine ecology (corals reef, seagrass, mammals including turtles and migrating birds) and assessment of preventive measures/ translocation methods.
Coordination with port authorities, Stakeholder, EAD and client to prepare the KPI and technical closeouts of the comments of authorities.
Analysis and study the survey report on corals reef, seagrass and other marine ecology.
Access to water real-time monitoring stations of water quality, air quality and conducting the construction site additional monitoring to sensitive receptors of the sea.
Risk assessment for sediment plumes studies, flushing studies of sea basin, dragging recommendations to reduce the impact.
Technical advice to management and engineering department. Develop’ s technical reports CEMP and technical modification as per the requirement of the construction activities.
Implementing, monitor and ensuring EPA/EAD, client specifications compliance at site
EHS and Environmental responsible for Expolink Project as a whole.
Review Monthly reports of Subcontractors
Review CEMP and pre-qualifications documents (CEMP, EIA and Environmental plans) of the subcontractors
Report and review KPI
Environmental review and technical reports and monitoring
Advise all of the subcontractors for environmental improvements
Participate in Corporate and client (RTA) EMS ISO 14001 audit
Conduct and involve in environmental incident investigation and report to ensure proper reporting and documentation with prompt corrections made after accident and to prevent any recurrences
Confirm that the Contractor project management and project personnel are informed of the potential environmental impacts of planned activities and the mitigation measures/actions necessary to maintain compliance with project permit and legislative requirements.
Directly notify the Project HS&E Director & PD of any circumstances that warrant regulatory notification or management action to confirm effective environmental compliance.
Prepare an environmental compliance summary on a regular basis for distribution and review by the PD, Project HS&E Director & DD’s.
Guide and advise HS&E/Environmental Specialist to promote activities on site to achieve the Environmental Project's objectives & targets.
Conduct the environmental inspection/ assessments to ensure the continual improvement; access the Environmental risk during the different construction phases.
Involve or assist the team for Environmental Monitoring (such as noise, water quality analysis etc).
Suggest, cooperate and propose new opportunities to promote environmental benefits; (such as waste recycling or reuse opportunities).
Propose mitigation and preventive measures to construction team to reduce environmental risk.
Participate and guide construction team for improvements for star assessment program from environmental perspective.
Coordinate with and respond to Consultant/Engineer and Client Environmental requirement, observations, comments and Non-conformance for closeouts.
Review and revise environmental documentation, including sub-contractors’ documents.
Establish special attention to unusual operations and requirements of the Employer relating to environmental issues/matters.
Ensure information and follow-up action of Environmental Specialist/ SPIC after discussion with Construction Manager.
Involve with the planning for the operations where the possible hazard may happen or the safe-environment level being observed on threat.
Oversee the implementation and execution of environmental program and their effectiveness
Monitor/check any environmental issues during site inspections.
Administer site environmental policies and procedures within the framework of the Construction Environmental Control Plan (CECP) to be developed with particular emphasis on potential hazardous and pollution operations.
Conducting and or participating in job safety meetings whereby any
environmental issues will be discussed and reminded accordingly.
Assist Sub-contractors with their program to meet the various site requirements to keep compliance with BACS environmental program.
Involve in Sub-contractor environmental audits, assessment and follow-up for closeouts for continual improvement from environmental perspective.
Incorporate with Sustainability section to ensure LEED requirements at field.
Any other assignment from HS&E Director and Environmental Manager related to Environmental domain.
Reports to Project Director HSSE and Consortium Environmental Manager.
Coordination with Consultant, Subcontractors and Other Departments to comply with Environmental Estadama (sustainability) Perl rating system requirements.
Coordination with Civil Engineer and Earth movements monitoring team to ensure tunnel and shaft construction is in safe mode.
Coordination with regulatory authorizes such as Center of waste management ( to implement waste reduction plan and manifest system at site) and preparation of supporting documents for the renewal of trade license of the company.
Advise the Project Manager to assist the project to comply with Environmental Federal Law.
Coordination to preparation of legal documentation for acquiring Environmental Permits.
Review and Preparation of Environmental plans (CEMP/ EMP -control and Management, Waste Reduction & Management, Emergency Plans, Review of EIA and policies) to achieve organizational goal.
Organizing the HSE committee meeting and presenting beefing.
Staff Training: (Reuse & Waste Minimization, Toxic Chemicals & Environmental Impacts,
Sustainability and ZERO impact construction materials & substitutes, Waste Segregation, Resources Efficient Consumption, Chemical Handing, Spillage control, Emergency incident trainer and presentations to Client and performance.
Risk assessment and rectifications. And analysis of Environmental aspects and impacts.
Chemical Hazard Analysis and monitoring Chemical Hazards on site.
Review of Environmental Testing in tunnel and surface of Ventilation, Hazardous Gases Monitoring, LUX and illumination Monitoring, Noise Occupational and Environmental, Dust Particles in Air PM 10 testing and Vibrations Monitoring.
Safety and Environmental monitoring, inspections, weekly report, technical report writing, monthly report, Meetings with client/ Abu Dhabi environmental agency.
Weekly detailed inspections of site and weekly report to achieve Environmental Compliance and advice to civil team in case of Noncompliance.

Preparing Technical reports and monitoring for Air Quality/ Gas sampling and comparing results (PM10)
against Dubai municipality standards.
Monitoring and reports for gasses O2, CO, H2S, LEL, SO2 and (PM10) and complying the mitigation
measures as per OSHA and Dubai municipality permissible.
Dealing/ Meeting with Road transport authority and consultant meeting and complying with their
requirements.
Supervision of Environmental staff audits, monitoring reports, NOCs, Dubai Municipality Environmental
permits and managing teamwork, and monthly report
Supervision of Environmental Monitoring and support team for technical report.
