Head (HSE) at RAK Co. for White Cement, White Cement/ Expansion Projects of Line-1 & 2/ Pet Coke Grinding/ Firing Project, Noora Lime Plant (Different kind of Lime Products) and Modern Block Factory (Interlocks & Curbstones) with the following core responsibility.
*Over all responsible to develop, implement and monitor the HSE Management System for all facilities including new Projects. Directly reporting to Factory Technical Director.
*Promote good health, safety and environmental practices throughout the company activities.
*Review and develop health and safety policies, procedures and guidance, in keeping with best practice and make recommendations on their implementation and application.
*Responsible to maintain Environment Monitoring equipment (Ambient Air Quality _PM10 and Gases, Continuous Emissions Monitoring from Stacks PM and Gases, Noise levels). Online Monitor and prepare daily, weekly and monthly environment reports and forward to RAK Authorities (EPDA) & Environment Ministry (MoEW). Synchronize with UAE Local and Federal HSE authorities to keep update Company HSE systems.
*Develop new and improved Fire Fighting System for whole Production facilities and offices. Responsible to maintain all plant sites according to Civil Defense new regulations. Coordinate with Civil Defense authorities to get annual Safety License for the company.
*Devise, develop and monitor effective Risk Assessment management strategies and make recommendations on the implementation of these strategies and control.
*Provide independent professional advice and technical information where appropriate to Top Managers and all Senior Managers to enable the Company to discharge its statutory, common and moral obligations, keeping staff and Managers abreast of changes in HSE Legislation and Codes of Practice.
*Carry out workplace safety audits and ensure that any remedial recommendations are implemented.
*Maintain accident statistics, analyse trends and propose and take remedial action where necessary.
*Investigate all accidents and near-misses, prepare report of findings, including recommendations to prevent recurrence and implement approved course of action. Where necessary prepare reports to the enforcing authority as required by the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations.
*Coordinate with contractor and Company Project team to make “Accident Free” project site.
*Responsible to develop HSE awareness through strong training program across the company by conducting trainings (In-house/on job) and safety talks.
*Liaise with other organizations and relevant authorities, and provide assistance and cooperation concerning audits and remedial actions. Ensure that statutory requirements are being upheld throughout the organisation.
*Catalyst for activity and commitment to environmental management
*Identify opportunities for continuous environmental improvement and implement programmes to deliver these promote and coordinate the integration of environmental management and sustainability issues into policies, rules, products, services and operation.

*Working as Head TQM & HSE department and reported to CEO directly to initiate the TQM cultural across the organization.
*Responsible for working and implementing MLCF Quality & HSE Management System, to serve as Management Representative (MR).
*Develop & Implement SOPs like Emergency Preparedness, Work to Permit, Usage and Handling of PPEs, and Inspections of Lifting equipment.
*Experience with reestablishing overall Management System in accordance with API Spec Q1 for API Monogram Program

*Identify the training needs of individuals and then Initiate, Plan and Conduct trainings containing Motivation, Team Building, TQM, ISO 9001: 2008 QMS, ISO 14001, Health- Safety & Environments, Fire Safety, 5-S (Housekeeping), Root cause analysis etc. across the organization from executive to supervisors/workers level . Also gauge the effectiveness of these trainings by different methods.
*Responsible to maintain MLCFL environment as indicated by NEQS (National Environmental Quality Standard) through proactive approach and close liaison with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency)

Responsible of activities like: Production planning, Selection of raw materials, Chemistry of Raw materials, performed Raw Mix design for Oil Well Cement for various grade (A~C, D~F, G & H) & classes(Ordinary, Moderate & High Sulphur Resistance), Kiln Operations, Final Grinding and Checking of all quality parameters according to API 10A Specifications as well as customer’s requirement.
To establish the QC Labs, select & procure testing equipment, prepare & follow the calibrations of equipment, develop testing procedures, train the lab staff and maintain all the relative documentations according to following White, Oil Well Cement & Grey cement standard’s specification:

Worked in erection phase to check the layouts, isometric views of equipments & mechanical assembly drawings according to design.
Worked in pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, shut-down & in operation of both White.
Observed permanent operational issues and pin point the core problem to the maintenance department (Electrical & Mechanical) during shut down.
