Senior Project Engineer with extensive experience in the engineering sector, particularly within Oil & Gas projects, I lead multidisciplinary engineering team while reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
My role involved in but not limited to :
- Managing a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful delivery of projects, adhering to strict schedules and budgets, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of various engineering projects.
- Coordinating and managing cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Managing project schedules, budgets and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Conducting regular project reviews and report progress to the Operations Manager / Top Management.
- Fostering effective communication among stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaboration.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout project lifecycles.

During my tenure at JGC Algeria (Multinational EPC firm) from June 2010 to March 2024, I have gained significant experience as a Lead Project Engineer, functioning in the role of Project Manager. I have successfully managed a variety of large and medium-sized projects, including EPC, FEED, feasibility studies, and engineering services. Notably, I led a multidisciplinary team, achieving early project delivery and enhancing client production capabilities. Additionally, I accomplished remarkable cost savings on major projects while strictly adhering to the required safety standards and quality during the execution phase.
My main duties are but not limited to:
• Manage and Lead different type of projects : EPC, FEED, Conceptual Studies and Services Contracts
• Manage project bid preparation including checking and approval of estimation
• Prepare the project management plan and establish the Project Strategy
• Contract review / negotiation and annex preparation.
• Presentation of busincess case / Project Proposal to Project Sponsor / Top Management
• Project Control and Monitoring for the entire project lifecycle
• Insuring that the appropriate risk management process is identified and managed in place
• Implement the appropriate quality management system
• Manage key projects issues / Milestones as directed by the contract
• Monitoring of Project Progress and performance.
• Analyzing and resolving of Project issues
• Reporting to the Project Sponsor, General manager, top management and client, and providing the necessary data (narrative, charts, graphs, etc) required for the progress report
