• Serve as sole IT authority for Tharwat for Financial Securities, a CMA-regulated capital markets
firm, and independently built and continue to operate the complete IT infrastructure for its sister
company, Mawan Real Estate Company, since 2020.
• Named successor to the IT Manager under the companys formal succession plan. Assume full IT
decision-making authority during manager absences, including vendor negotiation, project sign
off, and coordination with senior management.
• Own Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and
network infrastructure across Cisco switching and Sophos firewalls, supporting both companies.
• Lead an ongoing cybersecurity uplift program including vulnerability assessment and
penetration testing, data classification, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Intune, in direct
support of CMA regulatory requirements and annual audits with PwC and RSM.
• Evaluate cloud and on-premises hosting strategy, including detailed five-year cost and risk
comparisons across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, and local co
location options, to support senior managements infrastructure decisions.
• Provide technical oversight on the companys new headquarters project, including direct
contractor and consultant negotiations to protect agreed technical specifications.
• Manage the companys ERP system access and permissions (Burgan ERP), CCTV (Hikvision), and
IP telephony (Avaya), and lead full IT onboarding and offboarding lifecycle management.

• Resolved incidents and service requests through ServiceNow ITSM.
• Provided hardware, software, and network support for end users.
• Managed user onboarding including devices, access, profiles, and printers.
• Supported identity management using Forefront Identity Manager (FIM).
• Assisted with infrastructure and server support tasks.
