 Responsible for managing the bank’s critical & high visibility projects within the constraints of delivering scope on time, and within budget and engaged during all the stages of the project from the initiation phase, through planning, execution, monitoring & control and until closure.
 Lead and supervise the project teams towards achieving the project’s objectives and liaise with all NBK teams including business and IT stakeholders.
 Monitor the projects’ risks, identify potential issues and proactively come up with mitigation and resolution plans.
 Monitor & Control the project execution & consistently report the progress to the project sponsor & Steering Committee members and keeping them informed through regular reporting mechanisms.
 Lead steering committee meetings & working group meetings.
 Manage the vendors & contractors to deliver on time & negotiate contracts with the vendor as well as legal units.
 Apply the PMI standards and NBK Project Management Governance in managing the projects.
 Manage conflicts between the project’s teams and motivate them towards delivering the project goals and objectives.
 Manage & Control the project changes (scope, time & cost) through the change control process.
 Ensure customer satisfaction all the time during the project life cycle & journey.
 Key Projects:
 NBK eWallet Project: a 6.3 million dollars project for introducing electronic mobile wallets to facilitate the customers’ ability to purchase online & enhance the customer experience. (Market Presence & Brand Image)
 ATM Enhancements Project: a 1 million dollar project where customers will be able to perform card-less cash withdrawals & update their information through the ATMs.
 E-Statement Project: a 1.5 million dollars regulatory project mandated by the Central Bank of Kuwait aims to generate monthly electronic account & credit card statements sent to the customer via emails and targets to save the bank from the paper printing cost.
 SMS Gateway Replacement: A 1 million dollar critical project with high visibility from the senior management for replacing the existing NBK SMS engine/Gateway with a new reliable & high availability solution and enhancing the core banking system’s message delivery time.
 Banking Services for Special Needs: a regulatory project mandated by the Central Bank of Kuwait to enable the banking services for the special needs customers. Scope included establishing credit and debit cards with photos, Braille printing.
 15.1 Program (Major Enterprise Release): One of the bank’s annual program of change delivery which consists of 22 sub projects. Stakeholders included all business teams & all IT teams. The project was delivered successfully on time, within budget and as per the agreed scope without disruptions to the business. Appreciation messages were sent by the NBK Group CEO, the CEO and all other GMs. Accordingly I was nominated to lead & manage the second major enterprise release in a row.
 15.2 Program (Major Enterprise Release): It’s the bank second annual program of change delivery consisting of 28 sub projects Stakeholders also included all the bank’s business units and IT teams.

 Responsible for the overall delivery of the IT Development (60 members+) Department’s deliverables in terms of time, scope budget and quality.
 Managing all the enterprise & emergency releases from Platforms side and through all phases from initiation, planning, Monitoring & control and until final rollout and through leading the planning meetings, analyzing the resources capacity plan, and propose delivery iterations & dates and ensure action plan is set and distributed to the different teams.
 Work closely with other teams involved in the projects from Solution Architecture, Change Delivery, Testing and Release Management teams.
 Represent the department in the weekly meeting for scheduling the upcoming production releases.
 Built & enhanced the processes, procedures, templates and controls to insure the efficiency of the team, quality of deliverables and foresee potential risks.
 Governing the progress of all IT Projects that the IT Platforms has involvement in.
 Generate daily, weekly & monthly status reports.
 Implemented project management skills in the department including planning, scheduling & rescheduling techniques, scope impact assessment.

 A member of the NBK Enterprise Architecture Team responsible for driving the Bank’s enterprise architecture & solutions designs & insuring the business/IT alignment.
 Responsibilities:
 The process manager & the governance body responsible for managing & governing the EA Team process & ensure that the stakeholders & the new business initiatives/requirements requests adhere to the bank’s change management process & the internal processes.
 Responsible for planning & assigning the new tasks to the team members & managing the day-to-day activities.
 Acting as the point of contact of the unit & responsible for receiving all incoming requests & the delivery within the agreed time, scope & quality.
 Resources planning & capacity management.
 Implemented the Enterprise Project Management (EPM) in the department.
 Contributed in building the department’s processes & procedures & the NBK change management process, and standardized & published the forms, templates & guidelines.

 Responsibilities & Achievements:
 Managed a team of senior developers for delivering high quality projects on time & within the agreed scope, budget & quality.
 Managed & lead the project team to implement & deliver critical projects from initiation until closure within the agreed scope, time & cost.
 Assigned the project tasks within the tem and monitor & follow up closely.
 Acting as the point of contact between Kuwait & Dubai teams & responsible for supporting the Agility framework in Kuwait.
 Managed & delivered the PWC Active Directory project end-to-end from collecting & analyzing the requirements, planning, design, testing, deployment & until closure & worked closely with Microsoft consulting services team.
 Planned the full implementation of the new National Aviation Services portal.

 Account Notification System project that gives the ability to reset & generate domain passwords & Password Expiry Alerting System for notifying the users whose passwords will expire within 10 days

 Managed as a solutions consultant for the latest technologies in the IT industry.
 Consultant & Presales for the "ID Card Printer" solution which produces different type of ID cards.
 Met with the customers, presented solutions and created opportunities.

 Managed & lead the Business Apps team to deliver Impulse Leasing App through the whole life cycle & within the agreed scope, time & cost.
 Successfully lead & managed the Components team to deliver the Arcadia Flat Touch project with high quality & got wide acceptance in the U.S. & internationally.
 Short listed applicants for Arcadia Software Development. Interviewed & examined applicants & provided initial feedback to the top management.
 Delivered the Arcadia FlatTouch ActiveX controls project which received widely acceptance by many developers worldwide.
 Designed, developed & delivered the complete modules in Impulse Equipment Leasing Application until closure.
