-Deep understanding of materiality from technical characteristics perspective and fabrication process, Knowledge in brands and models of construction materials, different types of finishings, equipments and furnishings.
-Ability to effectively coordinate technical issues with internal estimation, procurement and design team members in coordination with suppliers and manufacturers from value engineering and scheduling requirements.
Job Tasks:
- Organize and document projects drawings, specifications, and schedules as per each scope of work, brand, and supplier.
- Ensure that all drawings, bills of quantities, and take-off materials are in compliance, and documentation and records in use are reviewed, approved, and controlled for adequacy.
- Plan and schedule technical documents and samples delivery according to project baseline in liaison with the planning engineer.
- Prepare scope of work of each supplier, organize kick-off meetings to ensure all requirements are clear to supplier/installer, follow up for technical documents and samples delivery.
- Review technical characteristics of all materials to be submitted to make sure that they comply with the project requirements.
- Prepare prequalification documents, material submittals, and requests for information (RFI’s).
- Attend meetings with client's representative and consultant to understand the project requirements, ensure meeting deadlines, and acquire client's representative approval for samples.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors any project issues/conditions.

Analyze, conceptualize and evaluate researched design, and prepare design proposals through freehand sketching.
Develop design proposal for client, and work on architectural presentation through PS, IL and freehand Sketching.
Produce computer generated graphics of architecture drawings through Photoshop, SketchUp and Revit.
Survey existing building and produce maps of existing conditions, Produce Execution Drawings and Shop Drawings. and update As Built Drawings during the construction process.
Archive, index and preserve soft and hard copies of drawings.
Prepare a material gallery for clients (design the gallery, and coordinate with suppliers).
Coordinate with suppliers for buildings materials selection.
Estimate cost based on equipment, materials and labor requirements.
Organize construction documents and assuming responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and management approval of materials and construction.
Schedule different stages of the building process, and reformulate building programs.
Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
Carry out regular site visits to check on progress and ensure that the project is running on time.
Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction.
Project management and assistance in coordinating contractors' work.

Supervise construction workers and provide technical advice and solving problems on site, and perform some technical work, including hands-on projects ranging.
Carry out regular site visits to check on progress and to ensure that the project meets agreed specifications and timescales.
Prepare and update site reports in order to supervise and oversee the direction of the project, review progress and find ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up.
Check technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly, and update them to as built drawings.
