Responsibilities
• Working as a Quality Inspector with SGS Kuwait - Certificate and Business Enhancement Department (CBE) - Kuwait Quality Mark Project (KQM) - on behalf of Public Authority for industry (PAI).
• Working with large variety of Kuwaiti, Gulf & international product & system standards.
• Responsible of large variety of products under the category of Chemical, Electrical, metal and construction materials in addition, I worked with some food standards
• Visiting many factories inside Kuwait of different manufacturing industries.
• Responsible of completion the Inspection process from receiving client’s application till reporting my recommendation of issuing KQM Certificate in addition, responsible of briefing PAI inspectors about the product standard before each inspection visit.
• Raising non-conformity reports (NCR) when required as per standards requirements during inspection process and/or the visit
• Collecting samples as per standard requirements for testing
• Following-up with clients, laboratories and PAI staff till the end of the inspection process
• Analyzing test results of samples collected during inspection with its standard requirements and reporting to PAI with findings (pass/fail)
• Closing NCR’s and providing recommendations to clients and reporting to PAI for issuing the product Certificate
• Providing technical support Reports for Standard department in PAI regarding errors or gaps that may be found in the Kuwaiti product standards.
• Participating in developing KQM manual system as per IEC ISO 17065
• Assisting in Managing and Coordinating KQM project and SGS Clients.
• Attending in Quality system trainings held for PAI staff
• Participating in Pre-tender meetings for SGS (CBE Department) Projects
