•Developing proposals on media and communication strategies

•Prepare daily media coverage and newsletter to ensure all activities are published accurately through all respective media channels (tv, radio, social media, broadcast, press, magazines…etc) as well as ensuring that QSW reputation and corporate image are secured and promoted.
•Draft the context of all publications will be issued by the Communication Office and coordinate the production of all types of publication and review at proof stage to ensure that contents are in accordance with local etiquette and overall corporate image that is intended to be conveyed. This includes QSW corporate in-house magazine, annual report calendars, diaries and other ad-hoc publications.
•Collaborate with PR Specialist, Communication & Marketing Specialist to include all marketing, communication, PR and media requirements and activities in the annual plan.
•Coordinate social media posts with third party media agencies as required in the best interest of QSW.
•Draft CEO’s speech and prepare the context to be read by the CEO or any other Director in QSW in the respective event or organization.
•Liaise with the Centres under QSW umbrella representatives in the co-events which are jointly organized with QSW and its affiliated Centres as required to leverage the opportunities to promote QSW reputation and social image in Qatar and in all GCC.
•Provide support to the Marketing Team in some marketing activities such as issuing privileged card or discount for some Centres and designated VVIPs.
•Provide support to the HR Team in motivational activities to enhance people motivation and engagement to the QSW.
•Liaise with printing QSW and media agencies to work out on the media related materials ensuring all materials are aligned with the Corporate Image and are reflected well the content of the event.
•Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Media Activities
•Managing and coordinating a team of suppliers, social media associates, and freelancers
•Monitoring daily news and compiling media coverage for the senior management
•Improving and developing Qatar Foundation for Social Work local and international reputation
•Working closely with The Foundation CEO office for reporting, covering and arranging media and social media interviews
•Monitor all dealings with local and international press, broadcasting and television networks to ensure that QSW actions as reported are consistent with the overall corporate image that is intended to be portrayed. Advise on the kind of information to be given to media including previously unpublished ones as consistent with the corporation’s policies.
•Review external attitudes towards QSW monitoring press reporting and establishing strong relationship with local and international media.
•Review, draft and edit the in-house literature, calendars, diaries, etc. to ensure alignment with the overall QSW image and prepare a consolidated events calendar for all QSW and Centres’ events.
•Build and maintain relationships with all applicable media partners ensuring positive coverage of the QSW as and when needed.
•Identify and influence leaders of opinion within government bodies, local authorities and public establishments to ensure that the requirements of QSW are fully understood and considered by those bodies in their dealings with the QSW.
•Provide inputs and implement policies, systems and procedure for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service
•Follow communication plans and shares QSW information through a combination of methods such as an internal / external QSW website, electronic and print newsletters, brochures, posters, flyers, etc.
•Prepare communication guidelines for all employees to use and edit all communications written by QSW executives.
•Measure and present results of communications efforts to be able to enable effective decision making.
•Study, research and report on communications and corporate social responsibility trends, policy and competitive best practices to identify program gaps to support to the Communication department.
