• Answer customer’s calls and emails taking all necessary information to provide them requested service, manage and resolve their complaints, and satisfy their needs
• Perform need data entry to identify new customer information on the system and to update existing customer information
• Manage the time of the mechanical maintenance team by setting the daily calendar of visits on site
• Generate a forecast of spare parts to be sold to customers in order to anticipate purchase needs, and communicate to corresponding department accordingly
• Transfer electrical intervention requests to electrical team; Follow-up on execution
• Follow-up and technical support of assigned team of technicians in executing assigned tasks to ensure compliance with company strategies and policies concerning the customer service
• Provide quotations and sales orders as requested
• Coordinate with corresponding departments in order to ensure best quality of service in a timely manner
• Inspect diesel engine and its related equipment to locate and determine the extent of necessary overhaul or repair for stationary engines/gen-sets
• Able to execute all services related jobs including and not limited to preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spare parts repair and exchange for stationary engines/gen-sets
• Assist in implementation of workshop policies and procedures. Assist in development and maintenance of parts kits, job sheets, time sheets, and competence sheets on a per job and per technician basis
• Assist the after-sales manager in the development of a training program covering both technical and non-technical aspects of the job. Assist in the preparation of the material and course delivery
• Receiving costumers, noting malfunctions
• Handing the car to the specific technician depending on the malfunction type, supervising the car maintenance process, ordering necessary parts
• Full inspection of the car before delivery (do a test drive when necessary)
• Submitting the car maintenance sheet to the accounting department, car delivery to the costumer
• Daily report to the manager/owner
This summer internship involved working in the service department, on heavy machinery
(Earthmoving equipment) and Generator sets.
The work included maintenance, overhaul, and reparation of Diesel engines, equipment’s drivetrains, and hydraulic systems.
Training in an automobile repair shop, in which I gained experience in the working concept of petrol engines and automotive systems (steering, braking, suspension ...).
This summer internship included:
• Designing a powder feeder for a local salt recycling company.
• Drawing soap seals for a local soap manufacturing company.
• Industrial drawings of gears to be sent to manufacture.
• Maintenance visits to companies under the supervision of a college professor.
