He/She must also ensure that all Team Leaders reporting to him understand the Group structure, especially in respect to the CIBM business, and that they maintain contact, as appropriate, with GRMs for CIB clients managed by their teams.
Externally, the jobholder is a key representative of the CORPORATE function for clients and is instrumental in overseeing critical/large client relationships to achieve the target share of wallet and enhance the bank reputation in the market place.
The jobholder is bound by the procedures and guidelines laid down in the bank, Group Standards Manual, Area Lending Guidelines and the instructions and regulations issued by SAMA and relevant government regulations. Business targets are specified principally by the Strategic and Area Operating Plans, and in Balanced Score Cards.
 
The jobholder has substantial autonomy in running his team and in monitoring and tracking his team’s activities to ensure compliance to standard policies and procedures. The jobholder is expected to exercise strong leadership, and also to provide mentoring and coaching to the Team Leaders under his control.
