Responsibilities:
-Supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities.
- Establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing,
verifying the financial information
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- monthly closing for all accounts, and end year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts,
general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure
variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed
asset activity, debt activity etc
- Monitor and analyses accounting data and produce financial reports
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Review of accounting and administrative controls
- Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Meet the financial accounting objectives.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
- Direct and participate in cost analyses and financial studies.
