Cleaning the system of debris and filling the system for ready to use and tests. Back to back. Supporting each other. Adjusting where necessary, inspecting internally and outside. Controlling the start-up.

The total electrical power producing will be +/- 1600 MW with a water production of MG/day.

Description : At the Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) with a total electrical power of 1730 MW working as Lead Commissioning Engineer over the HRSG's at the end of the Construction phase, including chemical cleaning, full system testing and the start-up. Representing DEC (Project Management Company PMC), customer, future owner and operator.
Duties include:
-Dealing with HSE as one of the priorities at all time.
-Attend daily meetings related to erection issues, tests and start-ups with main contractor Hyundai and associated sub-contractors.
-Responsible for assessing any construction issues and any Engineering design/variation changes as required to ensure the continuity from construction through to final start up and acceptance.
-Inspection of finished components, with the approval. At this stage all of the components have to be checked and thoroughly inspected for compliance, including the construction of the HRSG's, and all their sub-systems interface connections, supports etc. This task is completed by reviewing design drawings, ISO's and recommendations of the equipment supplier and will be rectified if necessary.
-Witnessing pressure tests, start-up of the HRSG's having checked all the necessary components and cleaning by steam blow of the internal boilers components, the steam lines towards the steam turbine and the air cooled steam condenser.
- Reporting to the Commissioning manager, to report non-conformances in order to prevent errors and omissions and or damage during construction and or commissioning, as the project progresses'
- Attend daily and weekly commissioning meetings related to commissioning work before plant start-up; for steam-blow and -purity run and more testing.
Primarily dealing with, regulating valves, strainers, pumps, blowers, gas manifolds, pipework pressure vessels, boosters, etc.
Similar project engineering tasks are mentioned below and are done with HSE, as a primary action, with Risk analysis undertaken with regards to work, at all times, with work permits, closed spaces procedures and ventilation requirements in order to prevent accidents and damage, to both people and equipment.

Duties including
: The Lead CSU Engineer provides a key role in the commissioning and handover of the new plant from the project phase to the asset operations. The primary objective is to ensure that the project delivers on its original promises, in terms of production, ramp-up, availability, and that it is fully ready for handover to the Operating phase.
