Responsibilities
• Manage the Commercial and Financial operations of the business, oversee the Monthly P & L reporting with overall responsibility for the profit and performance of the company.
• Manage the Estimation and Tendering process with overall responsibility for tender margin and submission to include negotiation and contract implementation of successful bids.
• Responsible for all procurement and sub contracts required to complete projects within the defined budget and timeline.
• Prepare a Business Development Strategy to create a project pipeline with a view to securing ongoing suitable project that meet the operational and financial ability of the company.
• Prepare periodic reports with respect to the Factory activities and achievements to be submitted to the CEO.

• Direct and control plant operations managing performance to achieve production, profitability and sustainable growth targets.
• Supervise key departments - Production - Doors, Production - Kitchens and Wardrobes, Finishing Division, Quality Control, Maintenance, Health and Safety, Logistics and Materials Management, Purchase, Inventory Management and Sales and Marketing.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to work programs and priorities resolving critical problems assuring smooth plant operations.
• Establish challenging goals and objectives and support departmental managers in attaining all predefined performance metrics.
• Collate forecasts from departments and develop annual plant operating and capital budgets.
• Conduct regular scheduled reviews of plant operational performance identify areas of concern and ensure implementation of appropriate corrective action plans.
• Review and approve contingency plans to tackle crisis/emergencies assuring continuity of plant operations.
• Track technical developments and customer preferences in wood based products industry by attending specialized seminars.
• Recommend participation of subordinates in seminars & training programs for developing required skills, competencies and market awareness.
• Implement and ensure adherence to company policies procedures in the entire plant.
• Advice, guide, direct and authorize department managers in executing major projects, plans and programs consistent with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure effective communication of departmental guidelines procedures for clear and lucid enunciation of roles, responsibilities, authorities and accountability.
