- Head of instrumentation department:

 Review bids and technical related offers
 Evaluates the design, engineering, development and review of plans and criteria for a variety of activities, assesses feasibility of proposed plans, projects and equipment
 Determines instrument specifications, materials, equipment and scope.
 Writes and understands technical documents and detailed proposals.
 Attends progress meetings, “white board” meetings and manages multiple projects within design, budget and schedule parameters.
 Implementing operation and measurement philosophy
 Prepare regular maintenance documents and work packages
 Carry out new systems installation, verification and Disassembling old systems
 Perform instruments calibration, check and verification
 Investigates and resolves problems as they relate to instrument engineering
 Delegates workload to subordinates, determines priorities, provides advice and assistance as required.
 Develops technical expertise of assigned staff and assists personnel in other disciplines in achieving objectives.
 Takes responsibility for aspects of occupational health and safety, and environmental matters, over which the individual has control.
 Demonstrate commitment to the continued improvement of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
