Duties: • Coordinate set of techniques to plan and execute all steps in the global network used to acquire raw materials from vendors, transform them into finished goods, and deliver both goods and services to customers.
• Responsible to develop and implement logistics strategies and processes in support of a global business unit including customer service, distribution, inventory and order management functions
• Manage, execute and develop the logistics group and processes in a cost-effective, customer-focused manner.
• Responsible for maintaining the planning and forecasting model for our industry.
• Manage the design and development of an effective and efficient supply chain model supporting the company finished goods international sourcing initiative.
• Concerned with meeting the company materials and services procurement needs required for operational activities

It is one of the leading companies in Egypt in the field of electric home appliances with an annual sales figure of 500.000.000 EGP. having around 2500 employees in 5 factories (Electric Ovens, Fans, Heaters, cookers etc)

Duties: • Getting the right product to the right place in the right quantity at the right time, in the best condition and at an acceptable cost is the challenge of logistics. It's an area that embraces purchasing and supplier management, materials management and manufacturing, inventory management and warehousing, distribution and transport, and customer service.
• Monitored the quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
• Coordinated and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems.
• Developing business by analyzing logistics problems and producing new solutions.
• Implementation of working procedures of the company in addition to training programs to increase the productivity of the employees.
• Responsible for the Purchasing and Procurement of foreign / local equipment from the different international / local vendors.

Material's Manager - Siemens Power Transmission & Distribution LLC, From May 1993 to May 2000
Power Systems Control Division, an American company working in a USAID project for the installation of a state-of-the-art Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.

Duties: • Maintained a database control for the materials, including construction material, spare parts and various electrical and mechanical equipment. This is done by using a special Project Material Control Program created on Microsoft Access for Windows.
• Tracked shipping procedures and handled all the related correspondences with the owner (the Egyptian Electricity Authority - EEA) to release them from Alexandria's port.
• Prepared Vendor (Cost) Analysis Sheets for comparing the pricing
• Checked inventory on regular basis, maintained optimum stock levels, issuing stocks replenishment. Identifies and disposes of surplus & scrap.
• Receives, returns & transfers materials in the warehouse.
• Prepare stock analysis reports.
