Surveying business potential in African countries to maximize sales revenues to meet corporate objectives
Comprehensive customer responsibility within the East/Central African ICT/Telecom market
Major Duties:
Collaborates with CEO-Africa to develop sales pipeline to ensure revenue growth across all vertical business lines
Regular reporting to the CEO-Africa regarding customer and project status
Fulfillment of turnover goals in business
Acquiring new business and care of existing customer relations
Conducts and/or actively participates in meetings related to the designated project/s, both locally and internationally, with clients and/or partners
Recommends the most suitable technical architecture and defines the solution at a high level
Participates in and manages Architecture Working Groups for the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Solution
Compilation of quotations, order reports, etc.
Updating of customer history and further tools that collect customer data
Keep regular contact with the service/engineering department to ensure customer satisfaction
Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and training sales personnel
Holds regular meeting with sales staff
Regular widening of ICT solution/product knowledge
Representation of Alkan CIT at events and trade shows
Frequent travel within various African countries (60% travels)
Prepare a Project Specification, Resource Profile, a Time Schedule, a Quality Plan, Communication Plan and Project Budget.
Identify risks to the rollout timelines and report to the Project Stockholders with Possible practical solutions.
Ensure that all relevant databases and Project Report are updated on time and accurate.
Monitoring and following up pre-requisites of OSP & ISP Network implementation with various functional teams within the project organization.
Participate in project meetings with Vendors/Customer and other concerned departments (e.g. Design, Quality) to review the project progress.
Responsible for managing the In-house staff and monitoring their performance.
Guide subcontractor’s teams to follow defined Scope and correct them where they make mistakes.
Interact, if needed, with local authorities for OSP Permits Requirements.
Coordination with Call Center staff, Migration Coordinator and Premises Owner to achieve the target migration numbers of BB connections.
Follow-Up and Controlling of Warehouse over-all Operations Phases.
Monitor the implementation team in their following of safety guidelines, aiming for Zero accidents.
Reviewing the Site Acceptance Document, ODTR Test and Blockage Report to submission it to Customer with BOQ for Civil and Telecom Works.
Follow-Up the Invoicing Process till the Collection Stage.
Achieving the financial goals and meet stakeholders expectations.
Reviewing and validating key project structures after receipt of customer Purchase Order / Contract / Approved Early Start request.
Reviewing and ensuring periodic reporting of key project performance.
Reviewing and analyzing project/operations performance according to group process initiates corrective actions within the project/operations organizations.
Reviewing all project/operations portfolio performance and identify risk areas.
Reviewing backlog conversion with project teams for key projects to ensure that financial performance is in accordance with forecast.
Accountable for reporting, and oversight, of all Early Start, Loss and Zero Revenue projects.
Working with PMO team to identify projects or project structures that can be financially closed in ONE.
Performing exception based planned cost validation on a periodic basis.
Other analytical and management tasks are required according to the business needs.
Organize and plan the project in consultation with the relevant line organization functions and the project staff assigned.
Prepares Account budget and ensures that budgetary controls are in place.
Prepare a Project Specification, resource profile, a time schedule and a quality plan for the Project Sponsor approval.
Secure resources with the resource owners to ensure adequate staffing.
Inform, motivate and build a team with co-workers and others who have a stake in the project.
Monitor and check on the work of the executing departments to achieve the project goals and objectives.
Report on the project to the Project Manager / PMO Head / Program Manager.
Arrange regular project meetings and communications plan to inform about project status achievements.
Responsible for E2E IBS coverage solutions that provide indoor coverage in venues suffering from poor coverage or requiring dedicated capacity as Airports, Shopping Malls, Stadiums, High-rise towers … etc. for different technologies including GSM, UMTS, LTE, TETRA, iDEN, 1xEV-DO, CDMA on different frequency bands.
Major Duties:
Manage E2E IBS projects from planning phase until final acceptance phase, including subcontractor management, interactions with logistics, procurement and project teams as well as interface with customer and governmental entities.
Acts as a primary project interface to the customer ensuring good customer satisfaction and developing the customer relationship.
Responsible for managing internal and external resources in addition to monitoring their performance.
Assist in the pre-design survey to acquire useful design information including noise floor level, equipment room location, vertical risers, wall material types, VIP areas to cover and any venue specific parameters.
Assessment of the optimum Distributed Antenna System (DAS) type (Active / Passive or hybrid) according to technical, financial and logistics’ metrics by assessing different active/passive suppliers’ IBS solutions.
Responsible for presenting the full IBS solution to customer and respond to any technical queries that might arise.
Shares project experience and best practices, knowledge of project management processes, tasks and tools with other project stakeholder.
Technical support for junior team members through coaching and knowledge transfer.
Maintaining the database of the projects or large scale sub projects.
Responsible for internal and external project reporting.
Supervise 4-5 Installation Teams.
Secure quality and on time delivery of installed BTS, RF, Power & Civil Work.
Single Point of Contact towards Project Manager and Client.
Specify and plan operations (including estimation of requirements of staffing, costing, components and methods), co-ordinate, monitor progress and document the installation and Civil Work schedule and KPI of Sites.
Provide technical expertise and consultancy regarding requirements such as Materials, Tools, Manpower and Problem Analysis.
Maintaining the database of the projects or large scale sub projects.
Ensure Report documentation is accurate, up-to-date and at the required standard.
Follow up & monitor all of sites activities starting from option handover until an acceptance phase.
Coordinating with civil subcontractors and with other Department to ensure proper work flow.
Interacting with customer and handling client’s requests and requirements.
BTS/M.W Link Hardware Installation, Troubleshooting, and Testing.
Supervise and troubleshoot the Power System, Alarm System, Air-condition and Batteries.
Do site performance verification and reporting such as VSWR and Earth Test in addition to acceptance check list.
Coordinating site inspections and Prepare BOQ with Client.
Ensure Report documentation is accurate, up-to-date and at the required standard.
Follow up & monitor all of sites activities starting from RF installation until an acceptance phase.
Supervising the civil work implementation of the Site.
Coordinating with an Acquisition team and Technical office to ensure proper work flow.
Supervise and troubleshoot Power System, Alarm System, Air-Condition and Batteries.
Do site performance verification and reporting such as VSWR and Earth Test in addition to acceptance check list.
