Mall Security Manager
The responsible employee for managing day to day security operations through handling a team of SOC agents. SOC team is responsible of managing and handling the security operation using preset guidelines of security and safety plans and measures also applying safety and security emergency response plan in all the company premises.
• Responsibilities:
- Preparing and controlling Security Department budget.
- Handling outsourcing and security companies payments.
- Investigating and Analyzing the Security incidents.
- Audit daily workflow of the team and take corrective actions.
- Cascade work assignments to the team members according to their skills.
- Consult the team in different cases. Solve the team issues. Set work timetable.
- Coordinate between the team and department employees.
- Coordinate security related issues with other company's departments. Perform other duties as assigned from Head of Corporate Support and Security.
• Soc Team Responsibilities:
- SOC agents replay and handle all phone calls and mails regarding all security issues.
- Handle all door alarms appear on the network sites to assure their safety and stability.
- Activate the sites guards through different scenarios via phone to assure their existence and awareness of the security and safety procedures.
- Handle all the sites problems either solve them or report them to concerned parties.
- Handle access/dismantle/restore process to all the company premises. Manage thefts, sabotage, fire and emergency incidents on the spot.
- Follow up all pending security issues.
- Maintain the database by adding new sites and removing dismantled ones updating any changes and make backups regularly.
- Handle all sites’ guards’ compensation system. Manage all sites filing system. Make all reports and analysis regarding all the security issues. Perform other duties as assigned from Security Operations Team Leader.
Partner, and I was responsible of managing the marketing of the company's activities, receiving clients, discussing all points of their needs and review issued contracts.
Also I was responsible of preparing and controlling the company projects budget and expenses.
Implement security and safety procedures and assisting resort staff in handling unusual guest or employee problems. Conduct security audits and surveys to detect areas of vulnerability or violations of company policies and procedures. Conduct daily safety inspections and document findings. Submit hourly and daily reports to Managers. Conduct inspections on safety equipment and record all findings. Promote a safe work environment through personal actions; identify and record any safety concerns. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Report all safety hazards and damages to equipment or facility to Managers. Other duties as assigned by the safety and Loss Prevention Manager.
• Co-ordinate emergency operations involving communication with security personnel around the resort and ensure strict adherence to Operational Procedures in emergency situation. Participate in the development and execution of sectional training programs. Provide routine supervision, team leadership and general direction to other shift personnel. Conduct the initial investigation or interviews into any security incidents that may occur during the shift. Prepare full, detailed and accurate reports by the end of each shift of all incidents that occurred during the shift using standard formats. Provide leadership to the security shifts as required. Any other duties as reasonably directed by the Security Manager.
• Monitors the Premises via the video monitoring system to watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards; dispatches premises security officers to investigate conditions and provides pertinent information during in-progress situations. Communicates and escalates security incidents or related information in accordance with standard instructions and procedures. Ensures that the control room and all equipment is maintained in good working order. Activates emergency notification systems as necessary. Prepares reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities. Provides the needed guidance and support to security guards according their posts and responsibilities.
Studied military sciences for less than a year then been assigned as a lieutenant officer, then moved to military intelligence school for a short term course, after that I moved again to join a field unit where I was responsible to lead and manage a small unit specialized in field reconnaissance and intelligence, I was managing the plans of the unit training and learning as instructed from the higher level of command.
This period of time I had spent in preparing official paper works after graduating from faculty of Arts, to be submitted to the Egyptian Armed Forces.
Also, I attended some computer courses to improve my personal skills.
I studied English literature in the faculty of Arts.
