Responsibilities & Achievements:
➢ Evaluate internal needs and develop SLA for maintaining optimal supply levels.
➢ Floating RFQ’s and creation of Direct and Indirect PO’s in ERP system.
➢ Improving Lead time(LT) for multiple projects by 20% compared to standard delivery time.
➢ Tracking material availability through systematic follow up with supplier (by using traffic light report and conducting weekly OTP operational calls).
➢ Coordinate with project management team to manage risks and escalate to meet the requirement.
➢ Analyze transit time and freight cost, in-line to the allocated budget and choose the most effective MOS with the forwarder.
➢ Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers for trade
compliance details and ensure shipping documents (CI, COO, BL,
etc.) are in-line with company and custom regulation.
➢ Provide necessary instructions to Logistics Service providers and Warehouse(WH) for timely sailing and goods receiving in system respectively.
➢ Responsible for maintaining Material Master Data in ERP system - item creation/modification, purchase and standard cost updates, APRC, etc.
➢ Ensure the KPI’s for direct and indirect procurement related activities are maintained in accordance with the corporate requirement.
➢ Expert support provided cross functionally for SAP related Master Data issues.
➢ Perform monthly review to ensure all item attributes are reflected accurately in Oracle and SAP system.
➢ Resolving issues with accounts payable on price and quantity discrepancies and ensure timely payment to supplier.
➢ Forecasting levels of demand for sales and service.
➢ Coordinating with sales and service for planning material availability.
➢ Managing inventory levels, transportation schedules and purchase orders.
➢ Preparing Material Management report for the ExCo meeting
➢ Assisted in managing stock replenishment during demand
fluctuations.
➢ Managing the delivery lead time and analyze safety stock levels
to meet the demand requirement.
➢ Monitoring inter-company material transfer.
➢Supporting administrative work and manage the data
management system (DMS) of the firm through daily reports.
➢ Implementing six sigma and Leen management practices as a
part of environmental health and safety protocols.
Achieved overall excellence in the programme and graduated my M.Sc. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management with "Distinction". Acquired immense knowledge on several practices of supply chain involving Global Purchasing and Supply, Demand and Inventory Management, Strategies for Managing Supply Chain, Green and Sustainable Logistics, Freight Transport and Warehouse Management, Supply Network Optimization, Lean and Six Sigma.
I have a strong knowledge on mechanical engineering courses like manufacturing technology, Strength and Kinematics of materials, Design of machine elements and transmission systems, Solid and Fluid mechanics, Thermal Engineering, Heat and Mass transfer, Automobiles, IC engines which deals with major mechanical science topics and have also developed my skill in computer designing software. With immense interests towards engines and machines, I pursued mechanical engineering and developed my knowledge towards engineering.
