creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer system
making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations

Key Responsibilities
Resolve queries from different customers / clients to ensure accurate business information is communicated.
Create and manage job files ensuring adherence to order processing timelines as specified by the customer and accurately carry out the costing of orders before forwarding to accounts for invoicing
Coordinate with customs compliance department for timely clearances to ensure smooth operations.
Assess airline rates, identify carriers (carrier space booking) appropriately and record sell / buy rates for all orders processed while maintaining adequate margins and quality of service..
Monitor movement of shipment to communicate accurate shipment status to the customer.
Prepare reports and forms (in case of damage) as required by the customer / manager with regard to each job / order processed to ensure efficient documentation and department process compliance.
