1) Lean Six Sigma Project: To increase the ON-TIME DELIVERY of suppliers at TD Williamson India
Ltd. Completed following Quality Practices. Duration 4 months
Achievement:

Improve the percentage on time delivery of the Suppliers from 62% to 96% in one quarter.
Description:

In this project the percentage of ON-TIME DELIVERY of the last four quarters has been analyzed through various statistical techniques.
The Vendors with lowest ONTIME Delivery has been Identified.
Studied the Process of VENDOR; CVSM (Current Value stream Mapping) has been done to chase the flow and identify the NON VALUE ADDED Activities so that it can be reduced. Further FVSM (Future Value Stream Mapping) was developed.
A problem of ON-TIME DELIVERY of vendors has been solved by reducing NVA Activities at vendor and simultaneously at TDW India Ltd. Also there is a Problem identified with the Inventory of the vendor

2) Lean Six Sigma Project: To Reduce the No. of Non conformity reports and Improve the Quality of Supplier at TD Williamson India Ltd. Duration 4 months
Achievement:

To reduce the total number of NCR & improve the quality of suppliers from 50 % to 85% within a period of one financial year
Description:

I contributed my knowledge, skill and talent in a LEAN SIX SIGMA BLACKBELT Project as a TEAM MEMBER
Analyzed & identified the vendors of TDW India Ltd. with highest no. of NCR through Pareto Analysis & using other statistical tools.
Identified the area having highest defects in the material supplied by those vendors.
Identified the areas of improvement, Developed New Fixtures & Gauges for products in which defects was found. Developed Standard Operating Procedures for all Parts at Vendors Place
Developed a checklist at vendors place so that the defective materials cannot enter TDW India Ltd. Developed the sampling Plan for the Process which was not critical.

This project was the study about the different parameters which were affecting the temperature of reactor at different time period. The tools to define, identify and solve this problem were basic 7 Q.C Tools. Identified different aspects of material which remained un-reacted during the process.

Identified the reasons of Low Productivity. Management was made aware about the Unskilled and untrained operators working during the shifts.
