• Heading projects and design for Control, Protection and automation panels related to substation projects with overall value close to 40M AED
• Supervise team for establishing the project execution approach and overseas project handover, execution, planning, monitoring and control of both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals
• Review of contract received from sales team
• Supervise Project Managers to Develop project schedule and freeze with respective stakeholders (internal and external)
• Preparation of project specific risk and opportunities management plan
• Coordination with Project team and design support for drawing approvals
• Coordination with Eng and SCM to place order on sub supplier for material procurement
• Coordinate with factories for production plan and follow up on production progress
• Coordination with suppliers for material readiness and with factory for completion of FAT
• Follow-up on Material shipment, material receipt at site and acknowledgment from sites for submission of Milestone billings (if any)
• Coordinate with stakeholders for Installation, testing and commissioning at site
• Closely coordinate and document change requests related to project scope and get approvals for time extension, additional cost etc
• Project handing over, as-built drawings, commercial closure etc and collection of PAC, close out of snags & FAC
• Payment follow-up with Customers
• Finalize the monthly production plan for the factory
• Supervise overall design related aspects of various type of systems like LCC panels, Control, Protection and Automations panels etc.
• Conduct Design scrutiny meeting with customer and end clients for getting approvals
• Support design team to finalize the material ordering BOQ
• Plan and forecast overall load of design team
• Support and follow-up design team in delivering all design documents on time
• Optimize design manhours by standardizing the design for various customers
• Support proposal team for the Preparation of all technical (offer, compliance, and deviations), commercial (costs and prices) workings
• Effective co-ordination with Engineering, Operations, Factory, SCM, Quality and Logistics team to understand the technical aspects and support the quotation review
• Review and scrutiny of customer specification, requirements and determine optimum solution for proposal
• Effective Communication with factories, OEM & other third-party items for technical and commercial clarifications
• Propose different solutions to Sales Team and support to identify the optimum solution
• Technical Support and clarification during bidding process
• Develop and establish positive relationship with existing and identify new customers
• Finalize orders and handover to Operation team by conducting Internal KOM
• Apply Effective methods to identify priorities, solve open points, preparation of schedule and identify the most efficient method to do the work
• Update proposal status and follow-up with Factories, contractors, Internal and External Customers

• Chose the right vendor complying GTP and within budget for different scopes related to substation projects like primary equipments (CB, Disconnector, Busbar, LA, Power Transformer, CT, VT etc, .), secondary systems (CRP, Automation, Telecom, RTCC, MK, LVAC, DCDB etc, .), Generator, Earthing systems etc, .

• Drive contractors to run the projects within the main project schedule
• Apply Cost optimization techniques during detailed design stage
• Conduct Bi- Weekly progress meeting to make sure that projects is in line with the schedule
• Responsible for Approving conceptual and detail design approvals for all electrical system
• Implement Budget optimization techniques across various stages of the project so as to complete the project within the Govt budget.
• Attend and witness FAT as well as SAT.
• Giving approval for Contractor invoices/bills against different milestones achieved
• Identification of project specific risk and timely report to govt with response plan
• Conduct surprise inspections at site to make sure that all Safety practices are strictly followed
