GK Steel is Manufacturer of TMT Bar of varied sizes with annual capacity to produce 40 K Mt per annum and with Annual turnover of USD 28 million. The unit consists of Melting plant, Rolling mill and 20 Mgwt Power Plant.

Chief accountant is primarily responsible to financial management of the manufacturing unit and a primary point of contact for Factory GM and Group finance controller (at Dubai office) for financial reports and analysis. Duties include the following.

• Present forecast report and business performance report and cash flow report to GM and GFC
• Cost Management and variance report Analysis.
• Analyse the inventory control system and give suggestion for improvements.
• Efficient management of Accounting and Book keeping function under IFRS.
• Payroll Management.
• Producing Costing & Management reports to GFC
• Evaluation of Purchase proposals and Recommend to the GM and Board for final approval.
• Co-ordination of sales, production and finance teams.
• Co-ordinate external audit.
• Co-ordination of Project (Initial erection and commission of unit and further expansion

Chief accountant is responsible for the presentation of financial statements to the MD. Duties includes; Working capital management, tax management, cash flow, supervising book keeping, branch Accounts, team management, bank reconciliation, liaison with auditors, monitoring accounting systems.

Main responsibilities include the following;
• Credit Management
• Monitor sales as per credit policy of the company,
• Bank transaction and Bank Reconciliation,
• Authorize the invoice and taxation documents,
• Inventory management and maintaining the inventory levels,
• Logistics arrangement for distribution of Products with optimum cost.
• Co -ordination with the sales Managers to accept the orders and for their timely delivery.
• Accounts reconciliation of the Stockiest and Dealers
• Authorize the commission and claims of Stockiest and Dealers.
