• Assure compliance with established safety policies and procedures and practices safe work habits throughout all phases of the project.
• Assists in management and coordination of activities among all project functions and engineering disciplines in accordance with the established Project baseline.
• Supports efforts of technical disciplines to assure integrated and complete designs that meet project requirements.
• Assists in creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, and monitor activities, progress, and milestones.
• Assists in creation and coordination of project man-hour and cost estimates and budgets, and monitors progress and cost performance against these.
• Prepares project procedures for performance of administrative, project, and design tasks in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Identifies and evaluates issues and events that may constitute an increase or decrease in project or service scope, cost, or schedule.
• Prepares documentation for meetings or communications concerning project contractual or technical issues.
• Allocates project resources appropriately; employee contractor contracts. Keeps an accurate record and database of all elements of the projects.
• Plan, organise, coordinate and implement project controls in accordance with policies and procedures approved by the company
• Day to day contact and communication with clients, focusing on understanding client needs and delivery of projects to ensure satisfaction
• Development of project proposals in collaboration with senior management
• Coordination and management of supplier selection, procurement, quality and test plans
• Coordination and participation in HAZID, and JSA studies
• Planning management and co-ordination (internal & external) of engineering and fabrication disciplines for project execution
• Initiating regular scheduled technical interface coordination meetings with appropriate participants to discuss resolution to technical or commercial challenges
• Management of project controls including identification and control of project risks
• Establishing on-going project coordination meetings including development and management of meeting notes and project actions with assigned ownership and due dates
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Inventory control and material reconciliation assistance after the project completion
