Detailed picture of professional experience, achievement and significant contribution in the field of library and information science. I completed my PG (MLISc) in 2007 and carried out a project work on “Automation of BIMS Library by using KOHA an open source software” under the guidance of Dr. Khaiser Nikam in partial fulfillment of MLISc Degree Course. Immediate after my course completion I joined Rajiv Gandhi Institute of technology as a librarian from 10th September 2007 to 18th September 2008. From the month of October I joined M.Phil in DOS in library and information science, Manasagangotri, university of Mysuru, Mysuru till june/july 2009 and carried out a project work on “Accessing E - Resources through INDEST by faculties and students of selected engineering colleges in Bangalore city: A survey” under the guidance of Dr. Khaiser Nikam in partial fulfillment of M.Phil Degree Course. I completed my Ph.D under the guidance of Prof. Khaiser Nikam, DOS in library and information science, Manasagangotri, university of Mysuru, Mysuru. My research topic is “Use of INDEST E-Resources by the Faculty of Indian Institutes of Technology: an Analytical Study”. Before joining Sai Vidya I automated Achutha Institute of technology Library by using KOHA for AICTE approval Purpose in 2010. I joined Sai Vidya Institute of technology in 17/01/2011 and working here till date as a Librarian and Head. I automated Sai Vidya institute of technology Library by using Easylib and I installed Dspace digital library software/institutional repository software and giving service to students and staff. I presented and published one book and 7 papers in international journals/conference. With this I am a member of Academic council member of Sai Vidya Institute of Technology and also appointed as a NSS program officer by management and Academic council members of Sai Vidya Institute of Technology.
I published one book in LAP (Lambert Academic Publishing) Book Title: "Use of INDEST E-Resources by the Faculty of Indian Institutes of Technology: An analytical Study" and ISBN No: 978-3-659-95630-0.
