Present Duties and Responsibilities:
• Managing group of 5 members, assigning them tasks to handle the situations on daily basis.
• Working on the SLAs with the IT vendors of the company.
• Creating Supplier Orders for purchase of the IT equipment & supplies from numerous vendors.
• Dealing with the Key Account Managers as per the arising situations.
• Managing all the hosting and the webmail accounts of my company, including renewals etc.
• Handling ERP (JD Edwards) issues on daily basis and escalating to the concerned consultants.
• Managing confidential files and information of the IT Department
• Install & Troubleshoot Windows Server & solving company’s intranet & server related problems,
• Management & configuration of Network services such as ADS (AD DS), DHCP & DNS,
• Install Administer and Troubleshoot Microsoft® Exchange 2003 & 2010
• Configuring Exchange Client using heterogeneous MS-Outlook version
• Proactively maintaining & Monitoring the network connectivity & performance.
• Moving users from one machine to another with their Profiles and Data,
• Dealing with Users, Groups OUs, & Security Permissions as per the organization’s requirements
• Installing and Troubleshooting Microsoft® Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006, Dealing with different Access Rules as per the organization’s requirements
• Monitoring and Management of Terminal Servers and Remote Desktop Connections
• Installation, Administration and Management of KasperSky Antivirus Server Administration Kit
• Managing and working with routine database Backups and restoration processes
• Good knowledge of Using, managing and monitoring Citrix Meta frame 4.0 Server,
• Desktop Support to users including Software, Hardware, Applications and e-mail support
• IT Help Desk “Manage Engine Service Desk” for daily user complaints & the resolutions.
• Providing Remote support to the remote branches across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• Managing and troubleshooting the Dynamic DNS clients and CCTV cameras
• Any other responsibilities assigned by employer.
Responsibilities Included:
• Monitor network connectivity and the internet link and its performance.
• Configure, administer and maintain Windows Server 2003 Active
Directory User Accounts etc
• MS ISA Server, DNS, DHCP and Exchange servers.
• Providing management and troubleshooting on DSL modems, VPN,
Access Points and Routers,
• Managing Antivirus issues like licensing, update, configuration etc,
• Providing IT Help Desk Assistance and IT problem solution to users,
• Configuration/creation of MS Exchange e-mail accounts Using Outlook,
• Creating weekly and monthly Backups and submitting monthly report to
the HO in UK
• Procurement and management of all the IT equipment,
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting of the Local Area Network (LAN),
• Hardware & Software Troubleshooting
• Correspondence with the Head Office in UK regarding IT related issues.
Data Processing Cell (DPC) Network links monitoring
Providing Troubleshooting to the users of POP3 and Outlook remotely
Hauling newly arrived stocks of the IT Equipments to other departments and cantonments from DPC
Monitoring of the Antivirus Server issues
Providing IT Support to users of the Headquarters 1 Corps
Taking part in Interviewing IT personnel
Dealing routine office matters of the IT Department
Installation and Troubleshooting of all kinds of hardware / software
Suggest various ideas in Upgrading PCs (hardware/software)
Creating Timely Backups
Purchase of the IT equipments
Teaching Computer Science as a subject to B.Sc. and F. Sc. Students
