Responsible for the overall recruitment for the entire Sobha Group including Meydan Sobha (JV).

My responsibilities are listed below

I. Strategy & Planning:

• Manpower Planning & Budgeting - Creating Yearly / Quarterly / Monthly recruitment matrix
• External Vendor Management.
• Lead and manage recruiters
• Responsible for training and development of young recruiters.
• Lead special Recruitment / Staffing related projects.

II. Hiring:

• Recommend & deliver on most appropriate global sourcing strategy & methodology.
• Shortlist candidates & conduct reference checking
• Consolidate interview feedback by driving integrated feedback sessions with Line hiring team & ensure timely selection decision & alignment of all key stakeholders.
• Maintain excellent communication & build relationship with candidates throughout the process.
• Deliver & successfully close the offer.

III. Sourcing:

• Use and train on the Boolean search for the best sourcing tool through linkedin.com and Google based searches.
• Develop targeted pipelines of critical talent for key skill sets in alignment with the team creating & maintaining external talent pools.
• Use expert knowledge to differentiate & select best sourcing methodology e.g. social media, outsourced contingency or retained search agencies, internal talent pools, and personal networks etc also leveraging competitive intelligence.

IV. Monitoring & Control:

• Demonstrate full compliance of use of pre-determined tracking tools.
• Support periodic cost & efficiency analysis to support productivity objectives, monitor & initiate additional activities if required.
• Be compliant with relevant labour & employment law.
• Support adoption & adherence to Meydan Sobha & Sobha Developers (and all its subsidiaries)
• Recruitment practices & policies, ensuring that these are transparent across the organization.


V. People & Organization:

• Develop & manage Line client relationships. (Internal hiring managers)
• Ensure positive internal client satisfaction for hiring managers.
• Coach Line on staffing related tools, systems & processes e.g. interviewing techniques, Application Tracking System, etc.
• Train & coach new & existing HR team members in recruitment process, tools & best practices & support the team in the overall achievement of objectives.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience both during recruitment and on-boarding stages for all new hires.
