Duties assigned:
• Overall management of the supply chain in Uganda Kenya and Tanzania. In charge of order process management, Equipment distribution, warehousing, transportation, sourcing and distribution design.
• Manage the distribution of all purchased equipment following company policies and procedures from the time Purchase request is approved to delivery in the warehouse and distributed to various departments of use and customer sites.
• Subcontractor management including the 3PLs.
• Logistics Process writer and implementation.
• Proper logistics reporting to the GPM and Regional logistics Manager.
• Stand in as deputy logistics manager.
• Design, Set up and implement logistics processes and procedures.
• The interface with the 3PL for billing and stock management as well as contract renewals for better and cost effective services.
