• Preparing monthly accounts as per IFRS/ IAS and dealing with banks for managing the facilities for projects; arranging Guarantees and Insurances; ensuring accurate and timely reporting to top management & timely completion of Audits
• Assisting in cash flow management and ensuring optimum utilization of available funds towards the accomplishment of corporate goals; conducting internal audit of projects, providing suggestions to the senior management
• Analysing margins and volumes trends on a weekly basis and verifying & ensuring that costs are accounted against the right budget holder and right cost centre is used; meeting Business Generation and OCF Targets on a regular basis
• Confirming first quartile quality standards including business performance analysis, financial planning activities (operational & strategic), cost control and latest estimates
• Interpreting financial statements, preparing and analysing cost information and management control reports, and assisting Project Manager in the assessment and reporting of important trends
• Ensuring that cost from all relevant input sources is incorporated in monthly financials and performing consolidation of accounts; examining closing entries (Accruals, Depreciation & Amortization, Inter-Project cost); mapping the corrections
• Monitoring & suggesting corrective actions to be taken by the Project Manager to regulate the project within the budgeted boundaries in terms of profitability, income generation and money flow

 Designing, development and implementation of Accounting and Financial reporting guidelines.
 Core team member of SAP implementation.
 Successful implementation of VAT accounting in UAE.
 Implementation of Financial Control Manual FCM.
 Ensure accurate and timely reporting to Management.
 Ensure timely completion of Statuary Audit.
 Implemented weekly cash flow management covering UAE, QATAR and OMAN.

 Prepare monthly accounts as per IFRS / IAS.
 Perform consolidation of accounts.
 Illustrate financial review of projects and suggest measures for controlling, maintaining and raising profitability of project/s.
 Carry out salary ratios and trend analysis on monthly basis.
 Monitor & suggest corrective measures to project manager in order to control project within budgeted limits with respect to profitability, revenue generation and cash flows.
 Prepare, monitor and update cash flows.
 Timely generation of invoices and follow ups from clients for timely recovery of invoices.
 Quarterly cash flows forecast of project/s.
 Ensure a balanced payables policy and build up good relations with vendors.
Budgeting & Cash Flows
 Prepare annual revenue, cost and cash budgets.
 Scrutinize quarterly income statement and balance sheet forecast of projects by comparing with actual results.
 Prepare bid to budgets of newly awarded jobs.
 Safeguard updated accounting records as per company policies which is also utilize for making comparison with budget, also ensure that the project is being executed in accordance with company’s project management best practices.
 Compute the variances of material, labour and fixed cost.
 Compute financial and cost ratio and make analysis of them with previous period and other projects..
Banking Facilities and Treasury Functions
 Maintain and arrange banking facilities i.e. LGs, LCs, bonds with financial institutions to facilitate smooth operation of the Project while keeping financial charges at a minimum.
 Ensure that the booking and reporting of costs is done as per the company’s specific chart of accounts and in reporting formats, that enables the consolidation and ready comparison, also scrutinize inter project / inter BA cost and reconciliation.
 Supervise the booking of local, foreign L/C’s and FATR.
 Expedite and ensure the timely generation of project accounts and cash flows on a monthly basis.
