Hasan Al Talhi

The central goal is to empower students in their education by providing dynamic learning situations and exciting research opportunities. I have had the opportunity to manage and teach laboratory courses such as applied biochemistry, nutrition and metabolism including research projects at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, I was the organizer of the seminar committee for which I created and led graduate seminars on several scientific research. I encouraged students to go beyond implementing existing protocols and actually lead their own projects. I am also serving as the designated mentor for a Ph.D. student whose project required both microbiology and enzymology expertise. In addition, I provide ongoing supervision and research advice to numerous Ph.D. students currently working in a variety of labs at King Abdulaziz University and beyond. My major objective is to create an environment that balances support with independence.
