o My main role is to lead the Security Systems and Low Current Section in my department.
o Follow up all the projects that contain security systems within from first stages until the project handover.
o I’m responsible to manage, coordinate & lead testing & commissioning security systems big projects.
o Prepare Quotations and build solutions in all ELV systems meeting the project requirements for Enterprise projects following the FSDs and International standards.
o Design and redesign new projects as per the international standards NFPA, EN & ISO and national Saudi Standards like HCIS. Build IFC drawings with detailed equipment installation drawings.
o Supervise and manage governmental & privet bids. Redesign base on the applicable systems we deal with to give the proper solution . Submit proper project management documents, drawings and technical documents to support my proposal.
o Conducting trainings and presentations for the clients.
o Lead projects engineers and construct action plan base on project plan to meet the mile stones and keep constant progress.
o Follow up project status and provide technical recommendations and solutions.
o Give clients consultation on the security & fire protection systems, and aid to apply there facility security and safety design.
o Develop the section by (for example) introducing high technology systems to integrate, by seeking for the best suppliers, through conferences, magazines. Also educate the section engineers with all possible training and seminars.
In the area of Low Current Systems such as Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Public Address systems I have the following tasks Project Engineer for the assigned projects (Towers, Banks, Hospitals…etc):
- Prepare any needed quotations for any system after total systems deign based on project specifications and BOQ analysis.
- Provide and submit full technical material submittal for each proposed system for consultant approval.
- Configure, test and commission diffent types of ELV and Security Systems like Edwards, GE, American Dynamics, Vicon ... etc.
- Prepare and sign full detailed contract with the contractor after material prices negotiations and settlements.
- Layout the systems design on AutoCAD Shop Drawings as well as system schematic diagram to be submitted to the contractor.
- Supervise the project implementation team (technicians and labors) through the implementation phases
- Prepare weekly reports and finalize full project documentation plus as-built drawings for all project systems.
- Seek Opportunities and possible projects requesting ELV and security systems.
- Prepare quotations and build project bill base on the customer requirement either it was documented or by conducting site survey.
- Prepare a design drawings using AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio PC programs in the domain of Low Current Systems or Building Technology Systems (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, SMATV).
- Prepare and Attend presentations and demonstrations for the clients describing the systems technicality and functionality.
- Report while project execution daily reports and in the end of it an as-built report (documentation) describing systems installed locations and wiring.
- Configure, test and commission ELV systems like Siemens (CCTV & Fire Alarm), Sony, Lenel ... etc.
