• To prepare Weekly and Monthly activity reports.
• Witness for transformer testing: -
• Dielectric test of transformer oil.
• IR and polarization test for transformer winding.
• Ratio test and vector group test.
• Inspection of installation and testing of 33/11KV/480V :-
• IR test, HV test, Current Injection Test, Bus bar torquing.
The E & I/ QA QC Supervisor will verify compliance of materials/equipment against vendor supplied data
Create an efficient QC flow to prevent bottlenecks
Establish and maintain knowledge of relevant technical standards and legislation
Plan and execute inspections.
The E & I / QA QC Supervisor will monitor all Electrical Pre-Commissioning activities, in particular Loop Checking.
Review Intrinsically safe
Participates in regular meetings with Construction team for Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning activities.
Ensures Vendor Warranties are not compromised.
The Electric & Instrument QA QC Supervisor will have the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve successful installation and Commissioning of major projects.
Participates in raising of non-conformance report/corrective action required /Defects or Punch-list items. Prepares and manages system Punch-lists, monitors defect rectification, liaises with Commissioning Team to achieve safe and timely start-up of facilities.
Provides progress and other reports as required.
Reports to the E&I; Site Superintendent or E&I; Project Engineer as appropriate.
Participates in development, Review and Approval of As-Built drawings and Project Dossiers in particular the Explosion protection document and ATEX inspection schedules.
Collate all relevant documentation into the EPD for ATEX inspections
QA/QC of the Electrical, Instrumentation as per the Project Specification and requirements.
Ensuring that Contractors / Sub-Contractors comply with the QA/QC requirements, testing and reporting as per the Project Standards and Requirements.
Ensure all work, tests and inspections undertaken by Contractor is in accordance with the Specifications/Contract Requirements and signs the relevant Test Certificates.
Reviews Contractor and Vendor QA/QC Documentation and design deliverables and confirms accordance with relevant International and Project Specifications.
To implement and ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control in the field of Electrical, Instrumentation as per the Project requirements, Project Specifications, Standards and Codes
To ensure that the Contractor / Sub-Contractor follow the project quality requirements during the construction of project.
Coordinate the QA/QC Subcontractor activities at Site.
Accountable for Shop surveillance inspections
Coordinate 3rd party Electrical inspections.
Good understanding of the boundary inspection during Commissioning of new equipment, facilities and additions to existing controls.
Coordinate preservation of all electrical and instrumentation equipment as required by Manufacturer recommendations and client specifications.
Lead and expedite the E&I receiving material inspection process ensuring that MTRs and certifications accompanying the material.
Conduct surveillance activities regularly and provide a weekly surveillance report to Client QA to verify the quality of their work products with respect to inspection and testing requirements (per the approved ITP) throughout the life-cycle of the project.
Develop surveillance inspections and Quality Audit in a 30%, 60% and 90% job progress and in a weekly basis.
Participate in equipment installation inspections, modifications, testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment for an effective handover to the client.
May perform other duties as assigned

HI-Pot test and (Megger) I/R test of LV, MV & HV, and control cable cables. Plant Lighting System & Illumination test for lighting system on Completion. I/R test of bus bars and prepare test reports. EMT, RGS, and RGS with PVC coated Conduit installation. Installation of cable Ladders/Cable Trays. Duct Bank Precast installation. Torque Test of all kinds of E&I equipment. Pre-commissioning testing for the Transformers, VSD, and ESD, RTU, Relay Logic Box, Breakers & motors. Earthing system Installation, testing and Pre-commissioning. Lightning protection system & testing. Heat Tracing System (IR Test, termination for heat tracing).motors and conduit wiring using flame proof. Equipment in hazardous areas. Inspection Load and No load run test of motors. Overhead line. CP system Pressure test witness of air & impulse tube. Field installed instruments. Calibration checking of Level, Temperature, Flow & Pressure Transmitters. Calibration checking of Pressure gauges of dead Pressure gauges of dead weight tester. Calibration checking of Pressure Safety Valves. Documentation of all Inspection activities. Review all Energization package and motor solo-run packages.
