Strategic Planning: created Company’s vision & mission. Identified objectives and developed the three years business plan.
Funding & budgeting: developed the five years financial plan. I identified the funding required, the source of funds & the areas to be used for ensuring positive cash flow during the period. Marketing Strategy: Identified the marketing objectives, marketing mix (7 P’s) and the target market focusing on digital marketing & social media as the main channel of communication & promotion. Also developed the competition and SWOT analysis to focus on opportunities & strengths.
Sales process: Developed the products & services catalogue, which includes pricing, payments methods and sales channels.
Risk Management: Adhere to the risk management guidelines developed by ministry of tourism for adventure activities such as cannoning, caving, abseiling, rock climbing etc.
Execution & Implementation:
Launched the new name and logo. It was changed from Adventure Club Oman to ROVE Run continuously adventure trips since November 2016. This created a loyal base of local customers.
Build partnership with other tourism companies who specialize in Sea excursions
Build alliances with tour operators in Dubai to bring groups to Oman. This to be expanded to include operators in Guangzhou, China.
Outsourced the guiding function to certified Omani guides with experience in adventure activities. Provide Health & Safety training with reputable organizations & coaches.
Incubation with National Business Center & Riyada.
